The A60 is the brightest LIFX with up to 1100 lumens and boasting 16 million colours with cool to warm whites. LIFX is selling down the last of the SKUS in the old packaging format, but the product is exactly the new boxed A60 and A60 Nightvision. Less than 100 units left, hence the massive markdown.
50% off LIFX EOL Packaging - A60 $29.99 and A60+ $39.99 + Delivery @ LIFX

End of Life range tho
Isn't it just end of life packaging? Same light inside?
Downlights is a nice idea, but imagine an extra 40 devices in your home competing for that slice of 2.4ghz
I have 19 in my tiny flat and I don't have any problems on my Unifi network…
Love how you're getting downvoted. I have maybe 30 of these and it's all good. They place very little bandwidth load on your wifi, obviously.
@caitsith01: Wouldn't a smart light switch been more cost effective at that point?
@InfamousCalf: I like the ability to change colours/hues, schedule lights to come on and off, dim, etc. It's not just about turning them on and off.
STORE10 from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/659073 still appears to work at the time of writing for a further 10% stacked.

Guessing they saw your comment
SHINY for further 15% off, for first time buyers!
Good luck if you can get it to stay connected
I've had no problem.
Agreed. I’ve found LIFX globes to be absolute shit, in terms of reliability. I don’t think I’ve ever not been able to control any of my Philips Hue lights via the iOS Home app or Siri. My LIFX globes are always hit and miss. My LIFX light strip has been reliable though.
Get a better router maybe. Mine never drop since I upgraded from the POS free ISP one.
I've got 2x Unifi APs in a Wifi mesh network, and LIFX has always been perfect
I've got about 16 color 1000 bulbs throughout both levels of the house thats I've had for years, connected to a unifi AP. Never had any connection issues.
I've found you need to remove Wifi (2.4ghz) Channel 13 from your list of channels your router broadcasts on. Anything 12 and under you shouldn't have an issue.
In my house, I have mainly Hue, Lifx and Mirabella bulbs.
The Hue bulbs are the most reliable and behave as expected. Mirabella bulbs also do not have issues but they are used more like conventional bulbs with smart functions for colour and brightness.
Lifx is the least reliable of the three. They frequently drop out and they need to be restarted. As far as I can tell, there are no NBN issues, no issues with the router (AC68U/TM1900) and wifi is on the best possible band.
The worst of their products is the Tile. It's nearly impossible to set up, has a terrible UX, minimal home integration and has recently started turning on by itself.
Nice, been wanting a brighter one in my kitchen
Good luck using LIFX with HomeKit. Moved to Phillips Hue and never looked back.

E27 OOS
LIFX site: The product 'LIFX A60 - E27 Edison Screw' is already sold out.Bought 5, just moved into my own place and was thinking about getting some more. Cheers OP and @bradstud92.
Nabbed an E27. Thanks OP!
Lodged a return request via their typeform web form on 22 Nov, and no response.
I bought 6 but had hard time pairing them with their app. And 1 is homekit enabled and other is not. Even after firmware update neither works with homekit. I'm using 2.4ghz wifi.
Looks they were paired before as I had to do hard reset. After frustrating out of box experience i wanted to return all 6. Here i was hoping I can replace my yeelight bulbs.
Now do it with the Downlights.
