Thinking of getting an SSD for some faster boot and load times, Main game I would be using it for is MSFS 2020
I think 1TB should be enough, I heard that some SSDs are better at different things etc. and I just thought I would see what the best one for boot drive is.
I did purchase the SATA 870 QVO https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/662046
but my Motherboard only has 3 SATA ports and I'm using 2, last one is blocked by my GPU
so this next SSD would preferably be an M.2 Drive
Best SSD for Boot Drive and a Handful of Games?

Probably a balance between speed and price
Gen 3 M.2That's not really best by any definition then. You'll probably want a 980 Pro but in reality, any will do.
Even this: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/662646
would the 870 QVO still be a decent boot drive?
@[Deactivated]: I meant to say 970 Evo (Gen 3) not 980 Pro (Gen 4).
870 QVO is fine but it's SATA, not M.2.
Which motherboard you using?
try SATA PCIe AdapterGigabyte B450M
Should be 4 sata ports on the board.
What's your definition of "Best SSD"? Speeds? Lifetime writes? DRAM? Warranty? Price? Different answers for each.
Also, Gen 3 or Gen 4 M.2 drive?
