It's the best deal for Australian Stock with Local Warranty compared to other retailers,
Just don't use airtasker if you have a merc
what car,I can do it,NE Adelaide
Is this worth it or spending more for the Pro?
Not worth for pro "Crushjelly has this dashcam but would NOT recommend it unless you absolutely need 4K recording however, he recommends A129 Plus Duo " (See CrushJelly's comment)
That's was actually a really helpful comment, thank you!
Single available?
If you buy a duo, can you just install one without the other? (e.g. if I just want to install the front cam first, and then do the back later)
Yes you can do that.
yes, I've procrastinated on the rear install for 6 months already haha
Is this AKA the "Plus Duo" or is that a different model?
This isn't the Plus model.
Plus is 4K, this is different
Plus is 2k, Pro is 4k
so this is 1080 both front and rear ?
@dcep: Yes
Right, reading around it seems that the Plus Duo is the sweet spot, the one to get
oh whoops cheers
…and the Plus Duo is $190, gotta pay shipping though
now if only there's shopback or cashrewards on it that'd make my day.
I'm so tempted. Are you pulling the trigger?
edit: I just saw that it's been this price free delivery from Amazon.. maybe hold out for black friday?
3 months ago … 185 delivered for plus duo
I’m waiting for the Duo Plus model on a Black Friday deal as well, fingers crossed!
Yep, pull and post, that's what I do. Muhahahaha
Missed out on the last Amazon deal, need to do a driving trip, can live with not getting the absolute lowest price.
Sold out already :(
You snooze you lose
how about 70mai a500s ? 1600P + wifi + build in battery for parking surveillance , pretty much same spec and only $115 on ebay or Amazon
Does it come with instructions on how to install it?
Yes. I installed myself in around an hour with hardwire kit.
Easy peasy.
Used a YouTube video for reference.
Great little unit.
Does anyone know what the deal with GPS is? It says it has "GPS logger" but also says the external GPS module is required to log speed and time?
GPS module is an add-on. GPS fixes to the windscreen, the camera itself fixes to the GPS. Be aware that if you have a crash and use dashcam footage to support your claim the speed you were at will be stamped onto the video. If you're over the limit your footage could therefore work against you.
I've got two of these cameras and neither has the GPS installed.
On the other hand could you use it in a speeding ticket situation? Would the court/police even recognise it as calibrated - in either situation.
Hopefully shoping square get stock of the Dual Plus before this sale ends, but I won't hold my breath. Probably be stocked the day after lol.
Thanx op, got one
Anyone know where to get one installed in SA? And rough price for doing so?
