      Hoe's the bezel? I have an old SNZF17 & the bezel is getting sticky, and its not really a dive watch.

    I own one, pretty awesome watch. Make sure to order some bands because this thing looks good on natos, zulus, leather and rubber straps.

      Seiko auto movements like this one are known to last 20 to 25 years without needing a service.

        They are also considered "throw away" movements if something goes wrong. You can drop a new, complete movement in for cheaper than repair costs in most cases.
        I have found them to be perfectly honest workhorses, though.

    Can these be modded using Seiko parts?

    Would be a cheaper entry to Seiko modding than buying Seiko’s.

      Yes modded one myself. The dial, hands, bezel insert and case back can be changed.
