Depends where you are. My brother in Brisbane has a crappy Event with $9 tickets all the time. My cinema in Sydney the cinebuzz price is $22 for regular and $27 for Max. Otherwise it's NRMA etc for discounts.

The Event Cinemas gift card shop is a different account to the Cinebuzz account. If you've never bought an online gift card before from Event Cinemas, then you need to make a new account. I got confused initially and tried logging in with my existing Cinebezz account.
