Yea until micro led comes out.
mini, micro which one is smaller 😁
For many purposes, yes, but OLEDs are by no means perfect - stutter in 24p content is more noticable to those sensitive to it, spotty near-black handling on some models, burn in mitigations can make them annoying for PC monitor usage and so on.
For pure contrast the OLED's can't be beat. No haloing around subtitles. Very low latency.
OLED is great for dark rooms not so good for bright rooms. This TV is fantastic for bright rooms.
It’s literally half the price. Of course the C1 will be better - perhaps not suited to everyone’s budgets though.
1480 @ video pro
It's showing @ $1980 for me. Is there a code that needs to be applied for that price?
That's the 55 inch model
oh I am dumb… is 55 as pointed out :P
The 85 inch version comes down to around $3.5k mark using the same promo, CR and $300 TCL cash back. Might be worth it to some?
JB currently have a $100/200/300 gift card promo with this 65/75/85" versions of the C825 series… anyone know if you can price match the 11% discount, get the TCL rebate AND the gift card all combined?
Never mind, not one of the participating retailers.
Is this a good tv for ps5?
It does have HDMI 2.1 and does support VRR so 120FPS @ 4K, so you'll get the frame rate. So I would say yes.
I'm also after a largish VRR compatible monitor for the PS5 and considering this. Might be better then risking burn in on a C1 LG, the previous TV I was thinking for the PS5.
Check out the link that kazer posted below about the issues with a PS5 and this monitor.
Last time this TV was listed on sale it seems to have some issues that needed to be resolved ?
just fyi for people considering this. not sure if the issues have been fixed or not.

Thank you for sharing this. Back to the C1 oled for me.
How does this compare to the Hisense 65u8g ?
This is mini LED also people said U8G Aussie version is a downgrade
Any news on U9G comparison?
How does energy use compare to a normal 4K or an OLED 4k?
I don't have a tv and after recently buying a place, wanted to get a tv and was hoping for good black friday deals. I was previously gonna try and hope to find a 65c815 for under 1k (maybe a pipe dream), should I just jump on this right now? Or wait two weeks and see what happens?
I’m no guru but the OzB in me says there’ll be plenty to choose from at this price point come BF/CM… I’m waiting
Anyone having issues with Good Guys not having stock available for this TV? They took my order on the 75" version but now saying its on backorder for an unspecified time. Possibly affecting the ability to claim the cash back from TCL.

Not the first time happened with them according ozbargain
"one of the best non-OLED TV's"
So oled is still better?
