  • Don't these only last 1 year, or have issues been fixed with them?

    • +3

That's the Smartmi toilet seat. Made by a completely different company so these are good.

AU standard shipping should be free. There's a bug where it charges shipping and someone mentioned in a previous deal on how to fix. Maybe you need to add your address to your BG profile? Or maybe it needs to be removed there. I can't actually remember.

          • @Clear: It has my address from my account forever ago. I'll try removing it.

          • @Clear: No luck. I looked at previous Banggood deals, and they said that it'll force you to Express Shipping charges for some post codes, so try editing your address mid-purchase. That doesn't seem to work for me. Maybe loophole is closed?

I changed my postcode to Perth City and the free ship option appeared. I edited it to my regional address and it went back to $39.90USD

I tried going through Paypal and that does seem to work (it's just the undiscounted purchase price $USD279.99), but I can't see a way to apply coupons once I get to the Paypal page.

      • Yes $25 to regional NSW.

  • Paid $232.97 aud via Mastercard exhange rate.
    😁
    Goood shieett!
    thnx

  • Do these fit on the aldi toilets?

  • Curious how this compare with the Costco unit

    • I have owned 2 of these. First lasted just under a year but the second one running strong for 2 years now. Highly recommended specially at this price. Usually is over $300 on ebay sales.

      • I’ve got one of the Costco unit installed and is working great. Got 2 to install this weekend. Can’t be bothered returning the 2 and getting this.

Does this comes with a handheld remote controller? Or control via smartphone app?

        • +1

Can only be controlled by app but the app is not great. There is a newer version with a wall mounted remote

          • @haliloo: If their Aqara app is anything to go by it needs some polishing. Ive got the Aqara Hub and temperature sensors. Trying to add the Hub was a bit of fart arsing around.

  • Does bangood give 12 months warranty?

  • Does these seats come with a backflow prevention inbuilt or does that need be installed separately?

  • Would this fit a round toilet? Has anyone experienced returning these just in case they won't fit?

  • How much does a plumber charge roughly to install the seat?

  • could i just find a hose attachment for my bathroom sink?

  • Does this mean i no longer need TP for my bunghole? Pulse Massage Uh huh huh huh huh huh huh

    • You'll still need to use a little TP to dry your a$$ before putting your pants back on. But it is in general more hygienic than the traditional way of wiping. Or, you'll appreciate it with the water wash when you ate some really spicy food the night before…

Also, the heated toilet seat is a blessing during winter.

      • i first came across these in Japan, i actually love them.i agree nothing is better than sitting on a warm toilet seat in winter haha

Be warned - these don't fit all Australian toilets, and the measurements on their website aren't reliable. We also found the seat to be pretty uncomfortable as it slopes forwards too much.

We have a pretty generic Caroma toilet, which is a fairly standard model in Australian homes in the past 10-15 years. They paid for the return, which was nice, but still a bit of a pain to remove the old one and reinstall it, and I was nervous that they wouldn't accept it.

There's a couple reports of people on Whirlpoo (maybe OzP too?) going to Bunnings to buy a toilet that fits the seat. Which is a completely ass-backwards way of shopping for appliances - it's like buying a kitchen to match your microwave.

I've given up on my dream for a clean ween and peen for now, but if we ever do a reno, we'll get an all in one unit from Toto, which are the cat's pyjamas in the bidet biz.

  • I bought 3 from previous deal, should wait for longer.

But I had a problem with the remote after installing more than one, the remote seems pair with all unit, so one remote controller controls all bidets when they are all seated. This became annoying, does anyone know how to pair them each individually?
