  • NT-USB Mini also $117

Also a good deal for the Rode PSA1 Studio Boom Arm, $111

    • Bruh! thanks. Been looking for one for ages, never in stock lately.

      • Still out of stock at that link.

        • There were 2 when I grabbed one, so i'm going to guess the second went pretty quick.

    • That's pretty much a historical low! However I am hanging out for the Elgato Wave Low profile arm to go under my screen. I wish that Rode had an equivalent product so I could by Australian, but the regular boom arms just don't work for my desk.

  • If you're looking for a cheap XLR interface you could look at TASCAM US-42 or Steinberg UR22 (or 21 - you lose the superfluous to voice recording MIDI interface but it costs around the same).

    I'd buy pre-owned.

So tempting but I already have a Rode NT USB. As a tech packrat I just want to buy this and see how it goes. But as a rational human being, that's also a complete waste of money. I've got a usb interface and cable. Seems like a fun experiment.

    • This is a fantastic mic, but if you plug it into a sub-par amp it will sound worse than your NT. Kind of a go big or go home type situation, so the total setup will be a lot more than $117.

      • I've got a little m-audio thing that seems reasonably good. I like the gain low cause my room sucks and audacity does the rest!

this serisously is cheap than the Blue yeti and sounds 10 times better.

  • what a price, but i'm pretty happy with my neat worker bee at the moment and have a takstar sm8-b (at 2020 clone) on the side.
