Mixed responses. Past reviews, some people said they good as new, but 1 in 8 said they are crapped and want to return.

Soggy seconds and sloppy thirds
For what it's worth, I bought XM3 'seconds' earbuds on Sony's eBay store a while ago; they look and sound exactly like brand new ones (I compared) and I have zero regrets.
My only advice would be to test-fit them if you can. They don't fit comfortably in my wife's ears at all and just fall out, even if you swap the tips to any of the 5(!) alternatives supplied.

Got mine today. These things are AMAZING.
WFXM3s have been my non stop daily audio devices since release but these are just a nice step up.
the case is less than half the size, they fit really well and even work better with a PC

Update - the ones from Sony Ebay are actually with a fault. They make a weird pinging noise in the left earbud that is especially noticeable in voice/video calls and with vocal tracks.

Sony have offered to repair it under warranty but no indication of where to send them or how long it takes.
Just some feedback on these seconds - i'd guess since this is widespread issue quite a few of the seconds sales will have this issue
