inb4 the, don't eat the cardboard comments :)

      Yeah but they're awful though.
What's better, not buying any and save $4.50 or eat crap "croissant"?

      • These are the absolute best croissants what are you talking about? I get these all the time they are so buttery

Tbh, Coles one are better. But I live close by to Woolies…

        • +1

Yeah I feel as though Woolies do not make good ones or they dont taste fresh enough.
Coles or Costco ones are really good.

        • I find them dry and flavorless. I gave them a try a few times and was always disappointed cause I really liked them as a kid. Think I need to find a good bakery.

  • These are half size compared to the ones at Coles/Costco

    • No those are the mini ones that come in the cardboard and plastic lid. These are the large ones that come in the bags and are the same size as coles but significantly better

      • Nah. They are smaller.

      • As Darwin said, these are a touch smaller than Coles ones but bigger than the mini variants.

  • I only eat Lune, there are shite

Yeah but these are 45c each so you're not expecting A grade stuff in terms of quality.
At almost 14x the price ($6.20) for a standard croissant with Lune, you expect it to be good otherwise you'd feel ripped off (and that's not considering the lines you usually need to wait in).

    • Those are meant to be heated in the oven. Lune is a rip off, but you do what you want with your money.

      • I do agree with your sentiment on Lune. I'm not disagreeing that the pastries are good, but overpriced for what they are. Ordered once during recent lockdown and had to wonder why people queue hours for them…

    These are rubbish

If you are buying woolies croissants you have more to worry about than saving $4.50

  • +1

Bang these in the air fryer for a couple of minutes and they get pretty good

    • No they aren't.

    • Yep. Second that.
Only difference is I put them in there instead of banging them in.

Does anybody buy these at $9 ?
$4.50 should be the everyday price .

    • I would buy Coles 12 for $10 full price, but no way I pay full price for Woolies

  • Are these the same Woolies croissants that you see in the 3 & 4 packs ones?
