    Curious why this is the case? Thought it might be due to PCIe 3.0 only not being so good for gaming but then I googled and found not much difference in fps?

      Crap VRMs, meh I/O, Gigabyte BIOS… it goes on.

      The much better Mortar MAX was recently in the $80-90 region.

      what CPU are you gong to shove in it ?
      Are you going to OC it ?

      We are replacing a mortar max with this
      Max killed Ethernet port, then PCIE port
      this is just a cheapy to keep it going until better options arrive.

          @robertm: Unsure if this will have bios updated for that chip you would have to contact them
          Personally I’d go for a b550 mb for that chip

  The only motherboards I’ve ever had blow up twice are the ASUS ROG ones, which amazingly - are expensive as hell, and even when blown up people will pay $100 for them. And a ASROCK once, MSI replaced it. Good find.
