Santa's letter will arrive in a green envelope and be sure to stand out in the mailbox!

Given the current postage delays will it even turn up before Christmas?

    • Well apparently it's coming form the North Pole!

I've never paid for a letter to Santa before.

Since when did he start charging $15 ???

Ever since his place up north sprung multiple leaks due to climate change and he decided to move down to sunny, albeit unaffordable, Sydney.

    • There is no more control in this place.

Why does Santa need to be a “he”.

Because he was born with male chromosomes…

Typical male chauvinist talk. Not too long ago they’d say the same as you for almost every type of leader. Get out of the hole you live in for a change.

          • @JeBs: What if Santa is not a 'he', nor a 'she'?

          • +1

@JeBs: Are you missing some chromosomes?

              @jv:

              missing some chromosomes?

Definitely missing a sense of humour.

JV, sometimes one has to love your work!

      • Santarina took the female version.

Santa has to buy his own face masks and hand sanitiser now.

    They don't come for free.

    • Is he double vaxed? Otherwise might be preparing for 2022 Christmas.

Couldn't you just wait for the (almost) free Australia Post one?

    https://auspost.com.au/about-us/supporting-communities/liter…

    • Unless I misunderstood (not unlikely, it's been a long week day), with Australia Post the kid* sends the letter whereas here it's Santa who sends the letter to the kid*

*kid or whomever, I'm not here to judge

      • Yes kids send the letter, and receive a reply

        • Oh I didn't realise that, cool!

Thanks for this just got two :) this will probably be the last year Santa is "real" as they're growing up too fast

As a child, I had so much hope in Santa being real. One Christmas came and as I was writing my annual letter to Santa, I was told by my family he wasn't real.
I felt betrayed, and was deeply saddened as a ~7 year old.
As an adult, I don't understand how parents to think it's okay to lie to children so easily for the sake of a tradition that drives capitalism and consumerism… It shows children that it's okay to lie to and betray people for the sake of something petty. As a human, no it's generally not okay to lie to people.
    Anyways, my two cents.

    • I remember a boy at school told me Santa wasn't real when I was about the same age. I was devastated. We all kept the magic alive for my younger cousins and my sister. I guess it's part of growing up. I didn't feel lied to by my parents or had the same feelings as you. It's just a commercial thing now that ruins it and the keeping up with the Jones crap
