It is basically a tofu skin or beancurd roll item that looks like a spring roll but is soft and flexible and sold in a takeaway container.
Years ago was a really great item to stock up in the fridge and then pull out and heat up in the fry pan and was all ready to go.
Not sure if any places in the far west sell this or what the proper name is but all I can remember is sin luk gin.
Used to buy it from flemington nsw iirc.
Looking for a business that ships it to Katoomba or basically does delivery otherwise going to have to go on a long trip with my hiking bag to get some.
Sydney has changed a lot in 10 years so not sure of the current dim sum delivery or frozen dim sum landscape.
Thanks hope you all stay well and safe take care for now look after yourselves.
You're not talking about this, are you?
I can't really help you on where to get it (I don't live in Sydney!), but at least I can make your query more accurate, if I've gotten it right! Whenever I'm down in Sydney I'd make a visit to Ho's Kitchen 中華點心包廠, and it looks like they now deliver. Having said that, I'm sure that there are much, much better quality options out there.
Hope this helps.
