  • Isn't this meant to be the best one?

Yes it is. My experience with Soundpeats is that it's a hit and miss. They all do their job but they don't end up being my go-to earphones for the gym or day-to-day use.

I ended up paying more for say a WF-1000xm3 because the ANC and sound signature is better. But that was like 160$ vs a bunch of 40-80$ offerings from Soundpeats and comparable.

That being said, the H1's are on my list for purchase and they were reviewed quite well in the community. That said, they pad their reviews/ratings on Amazon wherein they exchange 5-star reviews for free products. It's also been known that they try and pad reviews on their items outside of the one you purchase.

That also being said, their products are actually quite good and many manufacturers/distributors are guilty of this.

I've bought a few different kinds do I need these?

        • +2

What do you mean? If you already have some earbuds and they work perfectIy fine, and you don't need another pair, then don't buy these. If you need a new pair of earbuds that won't break the bank, sure, these are a good option. If you want a more premium pair, like Sony's WF ones, then you'll have to pay for it.

@CrispyChrispy: Tbh I don't personally see the need for more than one pair of wireless earphones. They'll always be a compromise in some way, so my suggestion would be to get one good pair for when you want wireless, then spend the same kinda money on wired IEMs for when you want better sound quality. You can get some really impressive multi-driver IEMs for under 200 bucks these days, and if you want wireless get a Fiio BTR5 to pair them up with; the benefit of that is that you can use it for every pair of headphones you buy after that. No having to keep multiple pairs of TWS earphones charged in case you decide to use those ones today.

By all means, buy multiple TWS phones if you want, nothing wrong with that if it's what you prefer, I just think you can get a lot more bang for your buck and save a lot of trouble keeping multiple devices charged if you get a few nice IEMs instead.

            • @TheRealCJ: Yeah, have a few nice IEMs myself, and two TWS (1 pair of SoundPEATS and 1 pair of AirPods) pairs too. The TWS earbuds are purely convinience, they sound no where nearly as good as the IEMs, obviously.

You spend a little bit of money on both and you can get good results.

      • You got a WF for $160? That's a really amazing price. You are right about the anc and gym, starting to get that problem now myself.

Been going later than normal, the gym is quieter so the music is noticeable louder, without anc, I have to turn my buds up ..

  • I'll never stop finding the name SoundPEATS funny.

  • Bought this a month ago.
Really really enjoying it a lot
    - great with work conference calls, convenient and comfy (no more headset clamping over my head, mind you I have a comfortable SS Arctis 7)
    - good sounds for music with decent bass (was just using it today while using my sanding/routing tools, blocks most sounds while delivering the songs, no ANC)
    - easy wireless charging for the box (put the box on the Qi charger i built into the table)
    - paired with S10+, S21Ultra, PC, and SamsungTV

I bought these as well as the Creative Outlier Air V3 (around $90), but find that I prefer the COA usually over the H1.
Neither are "high end" in construction (fairly basic materials and size), with chunky cases but at least they both have wireless charging and decent sized batteries in both buds and cases, the H1 case is a bit too tall and the lid feels cheap, thin weak and flimsy, COA case is just completely over the top huge.
The H1 have aptx and the sound probably contains more detail, but to me feel a little more bulky in the ear and feel a little more cumbersome.
Regarding phone calls the other party say I sound "quieter/more muffled" when using the H1 compared to the COA, and I like the ambient mode/ANC on the COA so I use them when exercising or making calls, so they are usually the ones I have at hand.
If I want to just quietly listen to music and I have the H1 available they are good so long as you get a good seal, the COA have more bass and slightly less detail.
I have not touched my soundpeats true air2 (or my galaxy buds +) since.

    TL;DR I use H1 for audio quality, COA v3 for calls/exercise/convenience.
