Same as me, the quality of the shirts I bought was terrible. Fay, if you can you should list the price of shipping too.
Just checked, and $21 shipping cost for I added 7 in my cart.
Like huu and Zidago, I was going to ask the same thing. Prints are nice BUT quality of shirt is terrible!.
I have had a few tees from threadless.. They lasted about 2 yrs and turned into rags. Not a bad price for 2 years of service.
Just wash them inside out and you will be fine.
Ordered 4, thanks OP!
Shipping is a biatch!!!
Just a heads up, they used to use American Apparel shirts a few years ago which were thick and durable. Not sure exactly when they changed supplier but the last lot I reveived 3 months ago were terrible, very thin and crappy feeling
Personally I'd rather they jacked up the price and went back to the old supplier
Reading up on some Threadless blogs where people have been complaining, Threadless have responded to say they've changed suppliers and things should be better quality and more consistent from January. I've not ordered something for ages, but jumped on this deal - we'll see if they're better or not, but for ten bucks, I'm not expecting astonishing quality; that's like JayJays prices there.

Unfortunately you can't link direct to comments on the threadless blogs, however if you scroll down on this entry to Beanie-O's response, you'll see: http://www.threadless.com/profile/1332304/Steven_Rice/blog/7…
"Sorry for being late to the party, but I just wanted to give you guys an update about our tees. You're definitely not alone in your feedback and we're definitely taking this stuff seriously.
After encountering some issues with our previous manufacturer, we've been on the quest to find the perfect tee for our community. Some of the new tees haven't worked out like we hoped, so we're phasing out tees that didn't work and moving to just one brand shirt to keep everything good and consistent. We've also identified a quality issue that affected some recent tees.
The good news is we've made huge leaps in improving the quality of our shirts working one-on-one with the manufacturer. Starting with newly printed tees in December, you'll be able to just look at your tee and see a difference in quality and, by early next year, we'll have a better mix of quality tees. This has been a process for us, but we're definitely getting there.
We want everyone to love what they order and we know some of our tees may not fit the bill. If you're not happy with your tee (here's looking at you @Lahar, @Steven Rice, @Tonteau, and everyone else I didn't mention), let our CS team know ([email protected]) and we'll make it right. "
Thanks paddy.
Anyone got a working shipping code?
Have you ever seen one?
No surcharge for AMEX btw.
I gave threadless another try when they have their last $10 sale and the shirts are all, without exception, horrible quality. The material used was too thin, lost shape when washed and the difference in size between shirts of the same actual size was very disappointing. I ordered L's (as I had in the past) and a few fit fine but the rest were way too small, it would be fine if they all were too small but shirts of the same size should be the SAME SIZE. I haven't bothered contacting them because the cost to ship them back would be prohibitive but if they are serious about "making it right" I think I'll give it a go.
Even though the quality is not perfect I think they are worth the cost… I order about 10 shirts every 6-9 months
If I get 9 months out of a $10 shirt I thinks it's good value - Placed and order for 13 shirts and 2 Hoodie's just now $200
I think you are insane, I'm still wearing shirts from uneetee and t-shirt hell (both of which are American Apparel brand) from 5 years ago and they still look like I just unwrapped them. Oh, and they were all $10 each. Accepting this sort of poor quality and justifying it by fooling yourself that less than a year of wear is acceptable is just madness and I'm glad the number of people disappointed with this poor quality is more than those self deluded into thinking it's OK to throw a t-shirt away after 9 months.
I should say that in my last order I also had a hoodie and it was excellent quality, very happy with it (apart from the fact that the zipper puller is on the wrong side but that's no big deal, maybe I accidentally ordered a female version, still fits fine :)
Guess ill be keeping an eye open for $10 sales from uneetee and t-shirt hell on ozbargain as the prices are a bit more than that right now
Shipping cost kills the deal
Before you go crazy and buy those nice tee's, go on eBay and find some vouchers for 25% off!:
http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_pppn=v3&LH_PrefLoc=2&_nkw…
You can apply them during your cart, so taking an additional $25 off of a $100 order (about 8 tee's including shipping to AU). That works out to be about $10 per tee!
Enjoy!
p/s - Also, if you'd like to thank me for this tip, I would appreciate any purchases through my referral (I get free shirts if you buy shirts!) :P
Excellent tip! Make an offer for GBP 35 and he'll accept. That way you get it for $55. Bargain!!
Awesome. Thanks heaps for the tip about the ebay vouchers. It was just what i needed to justify the shipping.
Anyone know if the quality improve yet? I like the prints but the the t-shirt is just too thin, couple of wash they be stretch out of shape. I bought 5 last Dec and now they sit in the garage use as rags.
