Upto 50% off iPad 2 Accessories DSE

260

Hey Everyone, I myself yesterday like many others here might of purchased the iPad HD (3) Yesterday and might not of bought screen protectors / cases etc.. I got pushed into a $15 belkin screen protector normally $20 at Jb-HiFi.. I thought that was good but today I see the exact same screen protector for $7.50! I can confirm that the Belkin iPad2 Slim Stand Black works with the new iPad (Sleep / screen off / rear camera) I'm unsure on stock levels but I've gotta go check it out! Just giving the heads up on this deal, you could save with screen protectors :)

Please note: In order to obtain the price discount you must order online the website, then "Click n Collect" Instore :)

  • Suggest that you amend the title to "Upto 50% off…" and also mention that it is online only with store pickup available. The store manager confirmed that it is not available for instore purchases.

    • Hey, Yeah I auctually went into a DSE today to see if they were advertising the prices as such.. and nope! Nothing.. I didn't grab anything myself yet tho but you are correct in saying you need to order from there website and pickup in-store kind of thing! Interesting

  • isn't the new ipad thicker?

  • Could you confirm if this fits the new iPad?

I had reports from someone on whirlpool that it works fine, while others say its a tight fit and the light sensor is in another location.. I'm tempted to just buy one and see what happens.. that way everyone can be sure on what to bloody get! :)

    • I will have the Kensington one soon (also on special for $20) so will see how that one goes.

      • Ok, Well be sure to post an update and let us all know :)
I want to find a case that will work with the auto on/off when the cover goes ontop kind of setup :)

Really like the Kensington one. Checked out the Belkin one in store too but I like this one better. Fits iPad (3rd gen) fine. Doesn't auto on/off with cover.

        • Thanks for the info. That case is nice. Real pity auto on/off does not work. Why did Apple change the position of that sensor??!!

        • Antman - you can cut a tiny hole and fit a small magnet to make the auto on/off - there is a youtube clip on it somewhere

  • Any hard plastic covers will not fit, e.g. the belkin snap on covers are too small. Screen protectors still fit, I am using the belkin clear 2 pack (purchased from big W yesterday for $15) and it looks amazing with the retina display, the anti-glare/anti-smudge protectors dull the screen and don't look as good.

    • Are you sure with the antiglare protector? I used it before with my iPhones and doesn't feel any difference

      • I'm pretty sure he's referring to the matte (vs gloss) screen protectors that might dull the screen, but help greatly in sunlight and don't take fingerprints.
