That's because their value would be minimal.
2500 Myteam points you can earn in 2 to 3 domination games (1 to 2 hours), the packs are basic packs with players outclassed by any of those which come in the special packs 2k constantly pump out.
Better than nothing, but not going to affect your team in any significant way.
