JB Hifi has the G Pro X Superlight listed for $279. Been eyeing this one for a while, waiting for it to go on discount. Great mouse, one of the lightest on the market, and most aesthetic mouse out there in my opinion. I've owned a handful of gaming mice and this might be might actually be my endgame.

Lowest price it's ever been, I believe.

Lowest price it's ever been, I believe.

It helps if you correctly add the product tag to your deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/logitech-g-pro-x-superl…

Seems there was a deal on the white model for under $170 not long ago, using a similar mechanism.

If you're not fussed about colour, it's regularly below $180 these days, and I'd imagine there'll be some big deals next month.

    • always a premium for white

      • +1

And yet, there it is, in a deal. There's also other deals that don't specify what colour.

Still worth tagging the product so people can check, and also checking the product on here so you don't post crap deals that hoodwink others.

        • +7

my bad, wasn't aware that there was a tagging function. this was my first deal post. still a great price if you want to buy it today. has always hovered above $200 even on sales for the white model.

          • @hate: Fair enough, for some reason I didn't see the L-plate! Welcome aboard, all the feedback was meant constructively.

    • -2

      its not white though

    • Yeah, this is not even close to near the lowest it's been. Has been $30 lower.

  • Wished they hadn't removed the DPI button :(

    • +1

You should be able to macro the buttons to change the DPI, right?

      • ye could set it to when your holding a side button then click your scroll wheel it would change dpi

    • -1

why do you change dpi regularly, or ever?

        • ok and? just set to 1600 and leave it forever?

          • @abjsdhasehasee: Then you're dealing with modifying Windows' sensitivity setting to compensate when operating at desktop, which some games still use instead of taking raw input.

At that point it's easier to switch between two DPI settings.

            • @jasswolf: sure then just set dpi to 1600,
set rawaccel to .25 or .5 and set it to start at setup and never touch it again (5mins)
adjust sens based off of that

            • +1

@jasswolf: thats why i use 3 mice with my pc

            • @jasswolf: What kind of shooter doesn't have raw input? Other types of games (ones that don't need pinpoint accuracy) the sens really doesn't matter as much unless it's extremely high or extremely low. AFAIK if your mouse has its own software, which they all do at this point, it will override any windows mouse settings even outside of games that use raw input or in general desktop usage.

              • @JerraJones: People play more than just shooters, and like simple means to switch between things as needed. It's rarer these days, but it happens.

I don't think the desktop software works like that at all, unfortunately.

      • I have one for normal speed and another that's maxed for when I want to be a helicopter in games

A white mouse would probably get dirty really quickly. I try not to eat over my desk often but I look at my black mouse now and it's really dirty. I cleaned it not too long ago either, so I imagine it would be a nightmare for people who own this mouse.

    • Actually I used to have a black 502 and that would get way more dirtier than my white gprox.

      • Interesting. Also using the G502, I guess YMMV and how clean you keep your desk lol.

      • +1

How does black plastic show more signs of dirt than white ?

        Wait….don't answer that :S

    • I think it depends on the type of gunk/dirt.

White/transparent/ light coloured gunk (like skin oils) will look really dirty on a black mouse, but is barely visible on a white mouse. Black/darker gunk will be more visible on a white mouse, but it isn't often you have that kinda gunk around your mouse (at least if you aren't eating)

I've got a glossy white corsair m95. It looks really clean pretty much all the time, about the only time I feel the need to clean it is when the cracks around the buttons start catching gunk. I never have to clean my skin oils on it, compare that to my mx master that I use with my laptop, I still have to occasionally the oils off it

The texture probably plays a big role too, I'd imagine most rubbery textures would get dirty fast (wears out faster too). My last mouse was a black mx performance, and I always felt the need to clean that. In saying that, I have no idea what the finish is like on this specific mouse so I can't comment on it

  • Looks like a $30? What’s good?

    • 60g wireless mouse without honeycomb with a medium size shape safe for all hand sizes and grip styles that has good qc unlike 90% of lightweight mice.
good sensor, good battery life, semi good stock feet, well tensioned switches considering there omrons.

    • +1

You're paying for the brand, honestly. No real reason why this should retail for $280 lol. Not saying it's a bad mouse, but no mouse should be this expensive.

      • +5

ye ofc theres a premium for the brand with probably super high profit margins but then again, theres no other 60g wireless mouse like it.
        starlight 12? impossible to get,
hati s wireless? same weight, honeycomb, bad qc

  • +1

would buy this for like $150 but im alr rocking a 62g g305

mm731 is interesting but with the firmware flaws im waiting out but its a good price for another sub60g wireless mouse.

pccasegear also started stocking gwolves mice, so hati s is a good 46g wired mouse with kalih switches good feet ok sidebuttons and questionable qc for $100

    • i think 731 is ergo and this is symm.

      • ye but its interesting to see what coolermaster CAN make, they could make something that rivals this mouse if it was a good shape, still 60g, wireless and had GOOD qc. theres missing out on a huger market imo.

its clear they can do it cause they did it with the mm731 (although ergo) but the sensor or firmware is (profanity) and considering its CM, qc is always an issue

    • +1

DO NOT buy the MM731, it has a massive wireless latency issue that has not been fixed even after multiple firmware updates.

Plenty of post's about this over on r/MouseReview
Mine's sitting here unused cause it's feels terrible to use wirelessly.

      • ??
""mm731 is interesting but with the firmware flaws im waiting out but its a good price for another sub60g wireless mouse.""
"" but with the firmware flaws im waiting out ""

        • ?

          • @Axelstrife: just pointing out that i alr adressed firmware issues. although wonder if its some sensor issue

            • @abjsdhasehasee: I was merely getting peoples attention to avoid buying this mouse.

I don't think it's the sensor as wired mode it works perfectly, but cooler masters response to the issue is extremely poor, idk if you read there comment on boardzy's Youtube video.

              • @Axelstrife: oh yeah forgot it was fixed in wired mode but ye its crazy how bad they are responding pushing out firmware updates that fix 'issues' buts its never the motion delay.

    • how did you get your g305 down to 62g?

  • I bought one in the last deal, it was cancelled after 3 weeks..

  • I was seriously contemplating this but not having USB-C is so annoying…

  • you can get these for $219 just about anywhere now..
Hoping for a 150-170 range price and i'll pull the trigger.

  • +1

Would it kill them to put in usbc

    • usb c weighs more than micro. it was intentionally designed to have micro usb to shave off grams

      • +1

Honestly I wouldn't mind the extra 1g if it saves me a cable when travelling / desk tidiness.

      • You need an actuary to figure out the potential sales/losses of lower weight but micro vs higher weight but usb c lol

  • Jeez I would be holding this as much as I can to utilise my $200 well spent

  • jbhifi just price matched it for me should i pull the trigger ? i was expecting $ 170 range aswell but doesnt seem like it will go down anytime soon

    • did u pull the trigger? even though i had a $30 amazon voucher, i would personally take that offer just for the convenience. also, how did you get jb hifi to price match amazon uk? was this over phone or in person?

      • i actually did at first i couldnt get use to the mouse but now im confident with it but i have 1 major issue tho for some reason when i play csgo wired feels way better than wireless so if you are happy with your old mouse but you want something with wireless connection for only csgo i wouldnt recommend it but if you need a mouse for csgo + other games go for it

        • and just a note for csgo players im a zowie ec2a player and had no issue with the shape of g pro x

  • Thanks OP. Just bought one for my cousin as a birthday present.

  • This mouse possibly $130 tomorrow with Lattitude Pay according to @s3n

  • $172 for the black one on Amazon UK
