First time poster so not too sure about formatting.
Was looking for parts for a new build and stumbled across this. With the little research I did, it seems to have the same overall timings as the recent Amazon post.

Just realised and changed. Thanks
according to this:
https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Memory/Ven…
16-20-20-38
horrible timings, tRCD 20 = trash
I thought that lower timings were better. Am I missing something?
yes, 16-16-16-38 is better than 16-20-20-38
@micsway: But if I were to compare it with this kit
https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Memory/Ven…
would the posted one be better?
@ikopop96: It'd be about the same
@ikopop96: yea posted better as timings lower
go buy some 2x16 ballistix for $5 more and 5x better lmao
5 times better? really?
Maybe 5%
no just better than the c die that will prob come with this kit that will be limited to 3800 18-21-21-42 at 1.35v with terrible secondary and tertiary timings and will die with more than 1.35v.
and instead buy some ballistix 2x16 that will prob come with some 8gbit rev b that can oc to 3800 c14 with a max of 1.6v.
not sure why anyone would buy this kit and why i got negged but whatever
do you have any links to video tutorials for overclocking ballistix ram that you know are good? I have 2x8gb 3200mhz cl16 ballistix and I wanna learn to OC
