Looks like a pretty good time to stock up for next winter for these (overpriced) jackets.

Great customer service. No exchanges for online orders, only refunds. NSW stores are still closed, so no local pickup. You can exchange in store, once they open up though.

  • Any idea how sizing goes for the jackets?

    • +1

They are Asian sizes I'd get at least one up if I was you. I got 2 xl when im usually a L and I don't regret it.

    • I listened to this advice and the jacket was too big for me. I am usually a small in jackets and got a M. It was too big. Length, shoulders, sleeves. Returned it and got the S as usual.

    • +2

As above - the old small sizing seems to have gone. Go your regular AU size.

  • Be mindful they charge for returns via post.

    • I'm told I can just bring it to a store.

    • +1

Unless you pay via PayPal and use their free returns option

    • ^^This made it so difficult for me to return. Plus most other stores have increased the time frame to 60 or more days for you to return but SuperDry says you gotta return it in 28 days. With lockdown in Melbourne, Officeworks closed for click and collect printing and AUS post delays, my return barely made it within the 28 days time frame. IMO SuperDry is still old school where they expect people to shop in store and return in store. I'd rather buy Super Dry stuff from The Iconic and return with their extended returns policy for locked down cities.

      • I contacted customer service and they said this:
"I can confirm that due to the current lockdowns across Australia, we have extended our returns period for online orders from 28 days to 60 days from date of purchase.

You are welcome to return your order to a Superdry store within this 60 day period if our stores reopen in line with restrictions. Unfortunately 60 days is the maximum period we can offer, so if stores are not open after this time you will have to return your items via postage if you still wish for a refund."

Though it's odd they'd expect the parcel back within 28 days, usually the return period is only the time you need to initiate the return by

        • I probably got nervous and got the 28 days bit wrong. Maybe i was supposed to send it back within 28 days and not have it delivered within 28 days. But i did contact their customer service and was told that returns policy is still 28 days as per website. Maybe it changed recently.

          • @ganjadeals: Yeah, I think it'd be pretty unreasonable for them to expect it back within 28 days especially now with the postal delays. But the website does now say 60 days, so they might have changed it to be a blanket rule if it was only certain stores earlier

            • @kicha: From Sydney so had no choice but to pay for the return as I made my purchase just before lockdown started and held out hoping stores would open. I am pretty sure I did free returns last year to Superdry so the paid return caught me off guard this time, didn't pay via PayPal.

              • @Cy724: That sucks that they couldn't accommodate an extension for you even just before lockdown. I'm in Melbourne and hoping the store will open within 60 days as planned, but who knows at this point (I paid with ANZ to get 14% cashback so I can't get Paypal returns either)

Also, stack up with 10% off for new customers sign up and cashback.
    Really good prices. Thanks OP.

    • +2

No it doesn't. Not to be used in conjunction with other promos or offers. So the 10% off only applies to full price.

SDWELCOME10 code worked for me, despite the restrictions

        • it will get tracked, but gets rejected later.

at least this is my experience so far

  • Superdry is looking more and more like hallenstein. they even use the same models.

  • +6

Thanks OP, ordered quite a few jackets for preparation for next Winter, though the current Spring in Melbourne is still quite cool.

I used SDWELCOME10 for a further 10% off which worked

Not sure why I got negged for trying to save people some money. Quite disappointing

      • +1

        Thanks, you saved me $33.40.

        • Nice one!

  • The code didn't work for me, would of liked to save $73

    • Assuming you have $730 worth of goods on checkout? You will stay quite warm this year mate… x
