I'm chasing a flat/slimline power extension lead/cable and can't seem to find any that are made for an Australian socket. Something similar to this ethernet cable but for 240v power.
Does anyone know where I could find one or have recommendations?

Mostly for aesthetics. I just want to position my wifi router on top of my kitchen cabinet which means running a power cable + ethernet up the wall. I don't mind but I know the missus isn't going to be impressed… I'd do a more legitimate job of it and punch through the cabinet if I wasn't renting!
Better off with something like trunking conduit held on by double sided tape if aesthetics is the main goal

You could probably make one yourself but you'll never get it as slim as an ethernet cable because it needs to carry 240v - 10amp.
Yeah, I did think that would be a limitation. Perhaps you could get it that thin if you didn't have to consider insulation! The closest thing I could find is this cable on amazon for the UK.
That cable is 2 wire and not a good idea with no earth wire. The closest flat wire you can see is the normal 10amp electrical wiring but I don't think it is legal to modify it into your case.
Why do you need a flat cable? How flat are you hoping it will be? How long do you need it to be? What are you powering with it?
Ive got a similar thing i am looking for. Not quite the same as the original post, but hoping someone else might know. I have one of the smaller 2 pin AU plugs from my TV (no earth connector). I have some conduit concealed in the wall behind the wall mounted TV that i want to run the power cable from the TV through to the cabinet underneath where the power socket is, but the cable in the TV is too short. The TV power cable is not a standard removable cable going into the TV. A normal AU 3 pin extension plug you can pickup from Bunnings etc is too wide to fit through the conduit, so was hoping to find a smaller 2 pin version for the 2 pin plug, but doesn't look like thats a thing in Australia after searching. Something similar to this but obviously AU connection:

I've never seen it in Australia.
What's the requirement? Is it just for aesthetics or access limits?
