Wonder if that usb c 3.1 Gen 1 port is capable to charge this laptop.
For me this is a must for any future laptops I get. Chromebooks have had it ( even one each side often now )
for years and can be found on units as low as $300 or sometimes even less. Windows machines "Take Note."
no its not
gen 1 is only for data, hdmi etc.
i have an acer that is gen 1 and its like its shitting on me every time i pull out the type c charger
2016 called but left no message
Not sure how this is a deal considering you can get a newer generation Lenovo, with an AMD 5300U, and an IPS panel from their website for not much more at $944 without any coupon.

when i google the v14 it goes to lenovo india or lenovo uk
so its either an india spec laptop or a post brexit spec unit (LOL!)
if it was $500-$600 i'd be willing to take the TN panel and gen 1 type c (not really) but at $800?
that's enough for a real laptop
at least acer insult you with a 45% ntsc ips screen and not a TN one
I had a chuckle on the typo on that product page
"Metal top panel and new pain that gives the surface a soft touch"
yuck
