Hailing from a 5 Red Star Halliday Rated winery, this producer is noted as the first to have planted Chardonnay in McLaren Vale in 1972. Although McLaren Vale is not primarily known for its Chardonnay's this wine is the exception. Expect a rich and full wine with a long clean finish and mild acidity.

    It looks like it should be Leconfield but I can only find a Coonawarra Chardonnay by them. My first thought was Fox Creek.

    Anyone know which wine it is?

    Good price I guess, but delivery only so have to pay for that too so not so good for single/two bottle orders :(
