It requires it's own software to operate, theres also a quirk with TP-Link softwares were they have two, Tapo and Kasa and they're not interchangeable. Also don't go hoping to link it up painlessly to say Tuya, you'll need to be running Home Assistant or similar to run it within an integrated environment. Although they can be set up over RTSP as well.
That all said, these are excellent cameras with spectacular night mode, they work perfectly for baby cam's or some isolated system use-case but I would not recommend them as part of a larger smart home integrated system unless you're more technically minded and prepared to put in the work. Loading these up through Google Home or Alexa is slow with considerable delay and in my use case I can pull out the phone and load the app to check the cam before Alexa/Google even connects to it which is disappointing.
This model has RTSP right
i route everything through an android box hooked up to a monitor, running tinycamviewer Pro and RTSP streams
This is Tapo C70 and not c200
TP-Link Tapo Pan/Tilt Wi-Fi Camera, 1080P, Motion Detection, Night Vision, SD Card Slot, Voice Control, No hub Required (Tapo C200) https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07XLML2YS/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt…
You have to fix the misleading title
Does anyone know the difference between the C200 and this one? The only difference I can see is C200 has got more Regulatory Certifications: FCC, IC, CE, NCC.
Seems as though they had different product codes sold by different retailers, however a comment at the bottom of the page seems to indicate that the c70 has not received the same updates as the c200 has and buyers should be aware of this difference, I am unsure whether this has been fixed or rectified. https://www.blacktubi.com/review/tp-link-tapo-camera-tc60-tc…
hmm a lot less reviews compared to this as well.

I have the C200 and this is not much different.
I bought it to monitor my 3D printer. My point is:- Terrible network performance: I would constantly notice the image was like robotic. Not smooth at all
- Poor FPS: related somewhat with above, at some point you notice the object ghosting.
- microSD: To solve the above I try to record to the microSD card but there is no easy way to access the files
- Day: If the place does not have decent light, it will look like sh1t
- Night Vision: It has a decent somewhat night vision
- App for everything: You need to use an app for everything and even it, is not responsible sometimes. I use the RTSP protocol with VLC to access the camera ( rtsp://USER:PASSWORD@IP_ADDRESS:554/stream1/ ) but still, you need the mobile app to set up the camera, change the angle, etc.
If you are after something great and yet not expensive, I bought an Annke I91BM from a deal I saw here some time ago. It is a 4K camera, POE so RJ45 instead of wireless, with an amazing quality.
You do require a Windows/MAC to install the app to "start the camera" but that is all, all the settings can be accessed via a browser and they also have a mobile app. Support RTSP & ONVIFI'm looking for cameras to point at my printers, I'm using a 1080p webcam at the moment and it's not great.
Are you using the Annke for your printer?
Yes, I bought "Annke I91BM". It is a 4K PoE surveillance camera, there is only the network cable going into the 3D printer room.
I accessed it via browser to change the FPS and resolution but I only really access it via my mobile or computer through VLC player using the RTSP protocol.I bet you are using Octoprint, I hate it so why I wanted something independent.
A decent webcam is as expensive as a decent surveillance camera and you cannot use it without Octprint. In your case which I believe you use Octoprint since you mentioned webcam, I suggest this one: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07D2HYBVS
It has manual focus! What sucks with these cheap webcams is that they have auto-focus.
Auto-focus is a big kick in balls. I use that webcam for meetings (WFH) and I have tried in the past to set it with Octoprint before I lost a 2 days printing so why I hate it and the quality was perfect, coz the manual focus I could adjust it.Thanks for the link, manual focus sounds pretty handy. I am using the webcam in Octoprint via motioneye.
@No: Yeah, grab a manual focus man. Happy printing :)
Does TP-Link still not offer 2FA or any other security measures than a password?
lol….
On a more serious note, what's the FPS?
