Link/code from a catalogue I got today. Don't know expiry - the numbers suggest it's from September but it's clearly still current, so 🤷

  • How much does shipping cost

Good news: it's free to most metro and major regional areas when you spend over $49. If you don't happen to qualify for free shipping, the cost of shipping will depend on the weight of your order. You'll be able to see this on the checkout page before you proceed to payment.

  • COVID-19 handling

For the safety of you and our drivers, we have introduced contact-free delivery. Drivers will drop off your order on your doorstep, lobby or another area designated by you to avoid any unnecessary contact. If you have problems with your delivery please contact us, and we'll always work with you to address any issues.

Use the Amex deal as well, (Last day)

    • Last day is today?

      • +1

Yeah, it says on the AMEX thing when you save it to card.

        • Yeah the thing was I used it then got a refund from Pet Circle then Amex took back the $20. Hence can't see it. But wouldn't the expiry date vary for different people?

          • @nightelves: Not sure. Maybe different offers for diff people?
But mine says last day today

          • @nightelves: Did Amex take back the credit? Had no idea they do that

  • Thanks Op!

  • New customers only, it looks like

    • "First Order" is what they call it, I assume new customers only yeah.

  • Epic! Thanks OP, was just about to order from Petbarn and saw this.
Picked up Hills Puppy 15kg for $86.

Now just hoping it doesn't come with Auspost

  • Thanks OP, was going to order Nexgard Spectra from them as they already had the best price, this is just gravy :)

    • Is it good product?

I'm going to start using it next month once the current flea/worm has taken it's course. I was using dontral wormer tablet every 3months and then a flea ointment every month.

Vet suggested it as an all-in-one each month. Might be easier to manage instead of trying to remember which to give each month.

I don't use Nexgard Spectra but use Credelio & Interceptor Spectrum (The Big 5 Protection).

Nexgard Spectra - Covers paralysis ticks, fleas, mites, heartworm, intestinal worms.
The Big 5 protection - Covers paralysis ticks, fleas, heartworm, intestinal worms, tapeworm.

I've always used The Big 5 and have had no issue. One of each every month. The two products come in another box, which has a reminder chart so you can write down the dates and tick it off.

I think Pet Barn has the best regular pricing (for repeat order) $39-$77 for 3 or 6 month supply. They currently don't have the Purple box for >22kg but you can find it at other pet stores. Sometimes it goes on sale.

From reviews, taste and texture is a mix. My husky is a fussy boy so I have to cut it up into smaller pieces and mix it with his food (it is recommended to be consumed with food).

Edit: Article from Pet Circle discussing & comparing flea & worming products. I think it is more likely for my dog to get tapeworms than mites.

I haven't tried it (Nextgard Spectra) yet so I don't know if the dog will happily chew it down, but it was recommended by a family member who's a highly qualified vet.

We'd been using Advocate before but I don't like the smell it leaves on the dog (and thus my hands) for a week or two after treatment.

        • Yeah my partner puts the advocate on at night so she doesn't accidently pat him and get it all on her. And he hates the dontal….virtually have to force it down his throat to ensure he has it.

Keen to give it a go. Thanks for your reply.

  • Missed out again. Voucher is invalid :(

    • dem it me too! :(
was too tired to do it last night, serves me right
