I am looking for a 16 port Gigabit switch that is less than 28cm in width. Most 16 port switches appear to be 29.4cm to be rack mounted but I am after something that will fit on a bookshelf that only has a 28cm space.
The only one that I can find is the D-Link 16 Port Unmanaged Gigabit Desktop Switch (DGS-1016A) but it has lousy reviews of ports failing within a year.
I don't want to have to get 2x 8 port switches but might be the only option.
Anyone have any narrower 16-port switches?

Be great if there was a unmanaged option that was cheaper.
D-Link have one that is exactly 28cm wide.
Currently cheapest from MWave but you'll have to check postage rates.
It’s 24 port but the TP Link SG1024D may suit. The specs say it is 29.4 wide but this includes two optional brackets to make it wide enough to fit in a rack. Without the brackets it is considerably narrower. I have this switch in my rack and it’s been good, but I can’t measure the unit itself (sans bracket) currently.
Actually ignore this it won’t fit.
Ubiquiti USW-Lite-16-PoE is the smallest 16 port I've seen.
