The newest cool thing in the detailing world, Graphene, is here to make ceramic look like ancient tech.

I haven't tried it yet because there is no way I was going to pay $60+ to try it. At this price, it's much more inline with high end waxes/sealants and worth trying.
Amazon US has tonnes of other well priced detailing products and it shouldn't be hard to blow some more money get to $49.

Isn't graphene what I put into my keyholes to keep them lubed?

    • +2

      Would likely be graphite powder

      • Hmmm. Might have to give this a go when Aquawax runs out then.

        • +1

Is that Duragloss Aquawax? That stuff ROCKS!!

          • @Brotality: Autoglym. Saves time because you spray it when car wet, then once dry off.

TB equivalent I tried (was marked down @ autobarn so gave it a shot) has me drying the car, spraying then wiping off.

Every few months I go full hog with a cream wax so just want something quick after a wash.

  • It's always this price at Amazon US. Much cheaper even when our local shops has on sale.

    • Are you sure you're talking about the new Graphene one and not the Ceramic spray wax ?

Graphene never went under $52 locally as far as I can tell.

      • What I meant was its much cheaper on Amazon US compare to our local shops

Sorry I misunderstood. You're definitely correct. It seems that the Chemical Guys stuff are also cheaper on Amazon US than the new local range at SCA.

  • This is usual price on Amazon US. More a PSA than a deal. When the Hybrid Solutions lines first came out, I purchased the entire range from Amazon as it was much cheaper than local. Lasts for ages and can wait until local stuff goes on sale to top up when needed as it's only worth it from here if you spend more than $49.

I'm glad to see that there are people here into detailing and are quite in tune with the new stuff and pricing.
I actually bought that same set off Amazon US. Used the ceramic spray wax every wash and still have plenty left!

  • Graphene is (put simply) honeycombed graphite, and has a wide application. It's also used in high end Fly rods.

    Graphene Oxide??

  • What else to buy to get free international shipping? I wanna give this a go

    • Might as well get the polisher:
      Turtle Wax Solutions Compound

      • Convinced a mate to buy a bottleā€¦so we got free shipping.

        • Let me know how you go with it. I still got one other bottle to go through before trying this one out.

  • I haven't been into detailing for a while. I bought some optimum spray wax which seems to last me forever.

    How does this compare?

  • +1

Having read some of the 1 star reviews on Amazon, I think I'll stick with my tried and tested products.

      Kitten Cut and Polish No.2?

  • Thanks OP, loved the ceramic so keen to try this one !

  • Got this locally when someone had 30% or something off, was around $40odd from memory. I rate it, better than Bowden's Bead Machine IMO and once you've done the first coat, you can just spray and rinse to top it up.

  • How does this compare ceramic wax coating hybrid solutions?
