  • I would watch this if they pay me

    Terrible movie

There is only one true Wonder Woman. Long live Lynda Carter!!!

  • If it wasn't so long, I would recommend it for a laugh.

  • -3

Upvoted for those who haven't seen it but don't get your hopes up.. it's a woke movie.

    • +3

You have to be awake to watch it? That's the case with all movies!

    • +1

I think that gives the movie too much credit.

  • +1

Direct to video quality movie with big budget VFX and props.

  • -1

I personally enjoyed the movies and watched it 3-4 times already.

I think people expecting an all in warrior Wonder Woman and they didn't get that so major disappointment for them.

While I agree that the script could be a bit better, it is nowhere as bad as what many people made it out to be.

If anything this played out like a Wonder Woman Comic, in many of her stories the action is just a backdrop, the focus was on her humanity and flaws. There is a tricky balance between Warrior Diana and Diana the Agent of Peace and Love. This movie may go a bit far into the latter.

    • In the Snyder cut I enjoyed when WW murdered the dude who was keeping hostages by exploding him and half the building. She could’ve just disarmed him since he was like a metre away and she has already been moving at super speed but yknow..

      • +1

He wanted to blow himself up, WW supports the right to die.

  • I remember the trailer for this was pretty sick

  • +1

Pretty quick from cinema to netflix.

Was in Australian cinemas December 2020 and on video on demand in January 2021? That's ages ago considering movies are generally available on physical within 3-4 months from theatrical release.

  • +1

    sh*tty movie.

  • +7

It's not a good movie, and this isn't really a deal, but an announcement.

    • Cmon m8 the trailer makes its look like the biggest blockbuster in the last decade !

  • +1

The end of this movie is f***ing weird

I only like 4th wall breaking for comedy

  • +2

I liked this movie, had some cool ideas and it's pretty rare to get a comics movie where it isn't resolved by punching someone.

First one seemed like a rehash of Captain America 1 but WW84 might be one of the most original superheroes movies ever made

  • +2

I still can’t figure out how to stop these?

      • The hide thing worked, thanks

  • +5

This isn't a deal. It's more like a push notification.

  • +3

This makes me want to unsubscribe from Netflix.

  • +4

Poor poor film. Can't believe Netflix waste their (my) money on this crap

  • wasn't this already in some other streaming service. I think, I saw this in Amazon prime a while ago

    • Yes since January 2021 but you had to pay to "rent it"

    • Can stream it on Binge. Not sure when it was added though.

  • +2

Yeah this movie is hot trash hey

  • +1

This movie is bad enough to comment on. It's that bad (it really is)
    :(

  • +2

I'm unsure why Netflix would even want this movie on their service, easily the worst super hero movie in recent memory.

  • +1

I think I fell asleep watching this.

  • Ugh… this movie is flipped

  • Just went and watched the trailer… its awesome! and watch it!

  • +2

    where deal?

    • Notice the large '[SUBS]' text in the title.

      • +3

        Ozbargain's about us page states:
"Our goal is simple – bringing the best deals and bargains in Australia to consumers."

Yet this post fails to do that, so it deserves a negative vote.

        • But this post (and most subs posts for that matter) also contain this message:

@divvydeal: But then I'd miss out on all those juicy Subway subs! Please, will someone think of the subs!

  • +1

I thought the first movie sucked. What will I think of this one?

    • +1

I renounce my wish for WW sequel

    • Whew… Glad to see there were others who thought the first one sucked. I attended a premier for the first one. Was given goodie bags, champagne, popcorn and beverages. But I still felt so bored watching that movie. Patty Jenkins cant make a good superhero(ine) movie IMHO.

This one is maybe 10 times worse.

      • +1

It's astonishing how much praise the first one got. It was so mediocre!

  • +1

Movie was terrible. Even the wire and daughter who are both WW fans didnt enjoy it at all.

  • +2

There is a difference between a freebie and something so terrible they have to give it away, yet still nobody wants it. This film is in the latter group.

  • +1

This is one of a handful of movies I couldn't finish. It was painful to watch, the story was all over the place and the acting was some of the worst I've seen. How Pascal, someone who can act like a beast normally, performs like a b rate extra that happened to score a line is inexcusable.

  • lol "from cinema" - yeah because we didn't all just pirate it or VPN HBO Max…..

  • I don't know what the neg guys are whinging about after seeing the first 20 mins the visuals were spectacular and the first appearance of WW at the mall was worth it ( she so hot ) :)
I can't wait for time to continue .

  • Came for the slagging comments, left satisfied.

  • is this the IMAX version?

  • Watched it tonight. Now I know where that epic rising music comes from - the long scene where she's flying. I swear I had heard it before in another movie. She does a lot of flying in this film.

Had to laugh when that "mass broadcast" system somehow made its TV transmission come up on all those beige-coloured early-80s personal computer monitors in workplaces.

Chris Pine was good with the clothing and train scenes.

  • +1

    This movie was dumb.
I was in for the cheesy mall scene but then when Pedro decided to Jafar it up and become the all powerful wish genie - nope.
Once he started running around granting wishes that was the “storyline” gone.

This movie had no business being 2 and a half hours. It wasn’t that clever or epic.
And she could fly? Seriously? Because Chris Pine said it was easy.

I wish for my 2 and a half hours back.

  • I mean if this is an alleged deal what about the first two seasons of the1970s Incredible Hulk on 9Now for free
