      Thanks fixed title.

LOL you'd be a brave man to spend $300 with SB tracking !
I guess people wanna know if using gift cards qualifies ? I had a quick look at the page and couldn't find the answer .

      • +5

AFAIK Coles online has never accepted gift cards.

        • +1

Hmmm ok greedy `^'s just like Kmart ( I know same group ) .

          • @popsiee: Target accepts Coles Myer cards online though

  • Is this their apology for the catalogue switcheroo? Baiting with 50% discount and giving 40%

    • +3

Also love how in their catalogue they advertise things as "every day low price" after just increasing the prices of those same products.

  • I'm still pending from the last one in July

  • -6

That is REALLY disappointing since I did my Coles online shop at 4.56pm and spent over $200! I ask some goodwill here from ShopBack PLEASE! Awaiting a reply from Shopback. (Also note Shopback tracked this at 6:05pm)

    • +2

Unsure but have you tried cancelling order at 4.56pm and re-ordering? Know click and collect gives a window of time to do this

      • -1

I did think about that but am worried that it will mean I won't be able to apply the same promo code (FOOTY - for $10 off) and I also used $10 store credit that I had on my account. Would you know if this would still work?

        • +1

Really unsure and maybe tricky if also used store credit. Below is what is on footy promo code. But have to let you decide if worth cancelling.
          Terms and Conditions
$10 off your shop offer is valid only when you shop via shop.coles.com.au and spend $150 or more in one transaction. Valid after savings and discounts and excludes smoking and tobacco products. Discount is applied when you enter the promotional code FOOTY at checkout. Offer is valid on any qualifying order placed until 11:59pm AEST 3 October 2021. If you modify your order outside of the promotional period, the discount will not be upheld. Order cut-off times apply (incl. 1am Sat/Sun in some stores on weekends). This offer excludes NSW and ACT. Visit shop.coles.com.au for standard terms and conditions.

@kizashi: Well I did it! I took the chance and went in and pressed modify order which put the items back in my trolley. I then closed the tab, logged into Shopback, clicked through to Coles and completed my order, didn't even have to reapply the code and the store credit came off too. I even took a screenshot of the Shopback symbol lit up as green in the extensions bar to show it was still activated at the end of the order. Just waiting now for it to be tracked.

    • +1

Can you cancel your order? Shopback usually won't upsize your cashback in cases like this.

      • As mentioned to another person, I could cancel my order but am worried that it will mean I won't be able to apply the same promo code (FOOTY - for $10 off) and I also used $10 store credit that I had on my account. Would you know if this would still work?

      • +1

Order modified and it worked! Store credit and coupon code automatically applied.

        • +2

The only thing with order modifications is that the prices will revert to current prices if you actually made any modifications so if you had originally placed it say, yesterday and the specials change today the prices would update to reflect that.

If it's the same day as you had done then no issues though. Just something to keep in mind for others

      Love the youtube vids.
I'll never forget the time your son convinced you to buy an alienware laptop.
I hope you've since acquired some slimmer and more lightweight laptops haha, that thing was huge! 😂

I stand in support of you getting every discount!

      • Hello, that's funny being recognised here by a fellow OZBargainer!
Well to update you on my laptop situation, when I got the Lenovo Yoga to replace the Alienware (which was MUCH lighter), I actually missed the lit-up keyboard (as I sometimes use it in the night and then need a light on as I can't see the keyboard properly to type). Anyway, after a few years, the Lenovo started having problems and so replaced it with a new one that Phil helped me choose based on my three most important features. Only got it a couple of months ago. It's a Razer laptop with RGB keyboard and 4K touch screen. The three important features were fast and powerful processor, touchscreen and RGB keyboard. Another feature which was a bonus was the bigger screen at 17 inches (as opposed to the 13-14 inch of the Lenovo) which is great since I often need reading glasses. Phil considered this Razer laptop to be overkill for my needs but I insisted I wanted it as it ticked all the boxes I wanted.

Can’t you just modify your cart and add in one more item and check out again? Assuming you haven’t passed the selected time where you can’t modify anymore

      • +1

        Yep, just did it.

  • Does Coles do click and clack?

  • +5

I made an order around 6:30pm and it only tracked at 1% - I always have so many issues with ShopBack

    • +1

Hey @padfoot07, can I just confirm if this was 6:30pm AEST?
If so, send me a DM with your account email and I'll sort it out for you first thing in the morning.
      Cheers!

      • Their profile says Victoria and seeing as that stage is kind of in lockdown atm I think it's safe to assume they're in the AEST timezone.

      • PM sent - yes AEST

Edit- not sure if you were extremely quick but I have just noticed the cash back amount has changed, will remove my neg. Thanks

        • +2

Definitely not me, I'm not at my laptop at the moment.
Glad it's all sorted then :)

      • Hi, I originally placed an order at 4:56pm yesterday with Coles which tracked at 6:05pm at the 1%. Then I got the e-mail regarding the upsize to 10% and so on the advice of fellow OZBargainers, I canceled the existing order then logged into ShopBack and clicked through to Coles which came up with (You're on your way to 10% cashback) and then completed my new order at 7:58pm last night. I even took a screenshot on my computer showing the Shopback extension as lit up green (ie definitely activated) right through to the end which showed my completed order number. Yet it still has not tracked in my Shopback account. Could you please help me with this? I spent over $200.

        • Hi @Diana0777, could you send me a DM with your ShopBack account email so I can take a quick look?

  • Thanks

GYB - I assume it stacks with this deal

    • +1

Hey, sorry I missed this last night.

Can confirm it will stack :)

      • +1

My coles shop has tracked last night and was part of the $3 challenge and ticked for that too but when I checked again right now it seems that my done $3 has gone and is saying that I missed it. Could you please kindly follow up? I Will DM you my email for you to follow up.

  • I had an order from earlier today (with the FOOTY code applied for $10 off) which I modified tonight via Shopback. 10% discount confirmed via Shopback about 40min later. Thanks! :)

  • I placed the order almost an hour ago, but still didn't get the tracking email.

    • Mine was placed at almost 7.30 and not received a tracking email either.

    • Mine tracked exactly 1hr5mins after checking out thru Coles

Got the tracking email 4 mins ago.

      • +1

Still no tracking and now almost 3hrs. I think something wrong, even though when click through to Coles showed was tracking. Debating to cancel and start again or continue to wait. Placed pickup Friday incase this happened

  • -1

is there any leeway for checking out late

  • Hi, my purchase that I made at 8pm last night didn’t track. @gotyourback are you able to look into this?

  • Has anyone else received a cashback but not the upsized amount, despite fulfilling the purchase within the deadline?
