Bunnings price match to Aldi's airless spray gun.
"Ozito 700W Airless Paint Sprayer - Bunnings Australia" https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-700w-airless-paint-sprayer…
These are reviewed very highly for the price.
Love Aldi, but never had much luck with their tools.
Always prefer the Bunnings price match. I have a heap of Ozito tools and love them.
Of course I paid $299 for it just yesterday…. :-(
Concrete tiles take a specialist coating - rather than a paint.
We diy-ed ours tiled roof two years ago as part of major reno.
Original 1975 red-coloured Monier Elabana tiles took a beating from a hail storm the year before which insurance paid us out on quoted cost of a recoat. We put the money to renovation and recoated the old roof tiles properly ourselves with a Wagner airless sprayer loaned to us by a neighbour. We got great advice on every step from Dave at Brisbane Roof Tiling Supplies. Addition was getting matching brand new Monier Elabana tiles - and we chose black colour: "Sambuca".
So after replacing cracked tiles and full-on pressure cleaning we sprayed an undercoat filler and then two coats of "ColourTile acrylic roof membrane" supplied by www.colourtilecoatings.com.au (in their colour mixed up specially for us to match Monier's Sambuca). Old and new tiles are on separate plains which helps, but two years later you still can't tell the difference colourwise, nor to know which are old and which are new. Harder part to get to a pro level is the pointing on the ridges and gables - but it got better as we went along and we started at back so imperfections there are not really noticeable.
Quite the learning experience. Really convinced me re airless sprayers - which I'd never used nor known of before. YouTube is your friend. Make sure to use 20litre strainer bag filters with them for the coating or paints. Cleaning out the hoses and pistol not at all hard nor lengthy once you are used to it. Again prior copious Youtubing was time really well spent here.
(Dulux make Acratex acrylic membrane which their website cites is for both tiles and metal roofs. I'm pleased we went with a local Brisbane manufacturer who have a good reputation in making a product that suits our local weather condition. I don't buy the Dulux idea that what is best suited for both conrete tiles and metal roofs in Hobart or in Mt Hotham is going to also be what's best in Broken Hill or Mt Isa or Cairns or Broome.)
