    Yes DWI and eGlobalDigitalCameras are actually the same company. However it's common to have more than one shop front to make your products more "visible". We actually have to implement some special logic in the backend to prevent DWI/eGlobal reps from posting too many deals from their multiple online stores.

  I'm one of those who has been stung by DWI so I guess I am one of those 'DWI whingers' you refer to.

  I'm more than happy to warn anyone even vaguely tempted to deal with these people here though thanks, on the offchance they might miss the warnings elsewhere.

  A dodgy company is a dodgy company, regardless of where the reviews stating so are posted.

  Oh, and their stated 14 day money back guarantee is a load of crp. Good luck getting a refund from these people at all unless you've covered you ase by using paypal or credit card to pay for anything you get from them.

  As requested, no rant - just stating the facts. Anyone even vaguely tempted by this deal, please read the link k has so kindly provided beforehand.

      If I wanted to rant I could have gone into detail about how they ripped me (and others) off by sending an inferior product to the one we were buying and hoping we wouldn't notice and made us return at our own cost for a promised refund with which they were not forthcoming. Heaven help anyone who hadn't paid by CC or paypal.

      If you post here on ozbargain just to get positives, I think you're going to be sadly disappointed.

      Telling people if they've had a bad experience with the business not to bother mentioning it in response to your post is just irresponsible. If you link to a business that has shoddy practices and customer services, people are going to share their experience.

      Cope with it.
