A budget Android tablet on sale from Blackview that also comes with the Blackview AirBuds 1 TWS Earphones as a bonus.

Featuring Android 11, 10.1" 1920x1200 IPS display, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage (expandable via Micro SD), Dual SIM, 4G LTE, 7480mAh battery with USB-C 18W fast charging, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and powered by the MediaTek Helio P22T CPU.

Obvious downsides to this tablet is that it's not going to have Widevine L1 DRM so Netflix/Prime won't be in high definition and it'll likely never get updated to a newer version of Android, however Blackview tablets (like the Tab 8) have received several Android security updates since release.

Besides those points this tablet is great for light gaming, internet browsing, videos and other general use considering the low price.

Wouldn't the Lenovo Chromebook Duet be a better bet?

    • +2

Completely different product. A Chromebook and an Android tablet.

      • -1

The duet supports all android apps and considering the lowest historical price it had been on Amazon. Also, the duet supports all android apps and has regular updates which these Chinese tablets will lack later.

      • -1

        The duet is a tablet.

        • +4

It's not an Android tablet though. This is an alternative for nearly half the price anyway.

But why stop there? Let's get an iPad instead.

    • At its lowest price, yes.
But duet still cost $399 now…

  • Was going to grab this but then saw the Teclast T40 for $250 on Banggood which seems worth it for the extra $30.

    • Double check AliExpress just in case it's cheaper.

  • How is this compared to the recent post of the Blackview Oscal Pad 8 Tablet?

    • +1

Not a major difference between the two as the CPU's are quite similar. Better cameras and batter in this one, plus the earphones.

  • Consider Lenovo xiaoxin pad IMO. For about $250 should be a better brand and support

    • Thought that was going for $500+?

      • That should be pad pro. Normal pad is about 1100rmb in China so should be around $250.
