Understand the frustration, Instagram giveaways always ask so much of the individual. 10x more effort than other giveaways with similar if not better prizes.

The effort is one thing.
What I hate about Instagram and Twitter comps is that you usually have to actively maintain an account in order to be considered. It's too obvious if your accounts are blank with no photos or no tweets and the only other accounts you follow are those holding competitions.
You'd have to be a photo tweeting whore like the downvoter of my original post to begin with before you'd even bother entering.
So disappointed with The Latch and this competition.
The T&Cs say "The Prize winner will be the entries which fulfil the entry criteria and whose answer is judged the most creative and original from all entries received"…
And they selected the winner who had the following answer which I think is far from creative and original:
"I absolutely need this beautiful TV to escape to a fantasy world far far away from the boredom of lockdown"
There were a number of really good answers (one benefit of Instagram is you can see them!) but it looks like it was more a lucky draw in the end. Probably what ends up happening a lot behind closed doors of other competitions.
Note: Apologies for the criticism if this happened to be an OzBargainer's response (and congratulations on winning) as know a few of us entered!
Piss off. I (profanity) hate instagram.
