This is a very reviewed product.

For reason, price jumps to 179.99 when logged in as a member so I couldn't stack with the $10 promo thats out there at the moment. I ended up checking out as guest to score above mentioned price.

  • Says $139 for me?

    • Same for me, I noticed it was $129 around a month ago though.

    • My bad, I corrected it

  • Any cheap sides for these

  • In time for the picnics

  • Was apparently $118 back in 2016.

Might as well give it a try at this price…

    • Id say one of the best sub $150 gazebos out there.

Not sure how the top fares with uv over time. But its alot sturdier than most at this price

      • I can't even think how long I've had mine - I'm going to say 5yrs but I really think more. In that time it's gone out on several week long camp trips each year and is really only now starting to show signs of age. I would still call it fully waterproof, but there are bits of sunlight making their way through. You can purchase the fly on its own for $80 which I think is a bit steep, but will extend the life of the unit for at least another few years.

  • Need a permanent one for strong wind. Do they exist?

    • if you use ratchet straps to tie it down, it will last

I've had this gazebo for years now and highly recommend it. Very sturdy frame, middle spring loaded pole to hold up the fly which is also gusseted. It's actually waterproof too unlike many that will leak once soaked through. I've got two walls as well that make it a perfect kitchen setup.

    • I've always been confused about this, the new OzTrail Deluxe gazebo's have the anti-pooling feature so no water can pool in the canopy. But they're not waterproof canopies? Why wouldn't they make it waterproof :P

      • I don't know how to explain this through anything other than anecdotal evidence from years of camping. Heaps of gazebos I've been under just seem to let a mist of water through during rain - I'm not sure if it's to do with the treatment or whether they have the second silver anti sun layer or not.

In comparison, I've found the Oztrail to feel terribly cheap compared to the Ridge Ryder in both canopy and frame. At this price it is not even a comparison.

        • Just really wanting one with the anti-pooling, bad in nights of consistent rain and you get pooling which ultimately stretches and damages the canopy if there's no one there to push the water out.

          • @BeerCrisp: Then get this for sure - there is a vertical pole that holds up the very middle peak which also is spring loaded to brace from wind as well.

    • Can you fold these away with the canopy attached, or do you have to remove it first? I feel like having to remove and re-attach it each time is so much more effort haha

      • +2

This one you need to remove first. I will admit this is the biggest downside to this model - but in reality only adds 5 minutes to setup and you're not folding the canopy in amongst the metal arms.

  • I've got this model and the central push up lock is fantastic. Super easy to setup.

As stated the cover has to be removed each time, but that's a minor quibble… Also ensures it doesn't get damaged by the frame being folded up, and the Velcro makes it easy to put on each time.
