Does a 144hz monitor need a particular graphics card for non gaming?

Hello
I am interested in buying this 144 hz 4K monitor.

After using a 120 Hz phone display and IPad pro, I would like to upgrade my current 60Hz 4K monitor to a 144 Hz one.

I won't be using it for gaming, only general browsing, reading, and office work.

The graphics card I have is a GTX 950.

Will this be able to run the monitor or do I need to budget in a new graphics card as well?

    For 120 or 144Hz 4K over HDMI I believe you need HDMI 2.1 ports. If you are using display port your card will need to support display stream compression DSC.
