Had uber pass Free trial and they offered this promo. Didn't work. Cancelled uber pass, promo worked…..you work out the math.
Paid $30.25 for a grocery shop. The app removed one item making it less in total. Now the discount doesn’t apply and I was charged full amount $27.07. In my bank statement it says two charges of $15.27 and $11.80
Just beware if they remove an item or two and it makes your total less than discount. Expect an extra pending charge in your bank statement. I have to beg to get it noticed.
Same thing happened with me,I asked to cancel the order and re ordered with different items
Same thing here. My $12 charge became over $20 minus the $10 item which was out of stock
Update : sent an email to uber eats and they have refunded the whole amount back so received my groceries for free
So am I. They refund that $20.
It is quite good to buy something that normally no half price in woolies or coles (like honey).
