The TV ad last night said "Buy one get one 1/2 price on digital cameras and camcorders" -

"Excludes DSLR. Discontinued models only. 2nd item must be of equal or lesser value. Not in conjunction with any other offer."

"Discontinued models only" is a bit of a kill on the deal… clearning old stock, typically they will do clearance stock 50% or more off anyway, so really just a way to make you buy another camera anyway…
decent marketing i think.

Assuming they include the Lumix camera:
499 + 249 = 748
makes 374 per camera. Does not seem that good.
