  • Is there a difference in the amex issued and bank issued cards? I've got a bank issued one but is there a difference besides these amexconnect offers?

  • 22 left according to my calculation

I brought one. I have the HDC-SD60 model at the moment. Does anyone know which is the better? I'll keep the better one and sell the other.

  • loads fine for me

  • +1

not as good as the deal they had before

  • Bought it no problems! Thx, it was time for me to upgrade :)

  • Sorry to be a bit sceptical, but has anyone managed to verify that this is really done my Amex & isn't a bogus website? Has anyone actually received anything they ordered from the previous offers yet? It looks a rather clunky website for something by Amex & even seems to mention Spreets in some offers (not something I would expect of Amex).

  • why cant i find any review or specs of this unit online?

    • This is the closest I could find: http://shop.panasonic.com/shop/model/HC-V100

      • i found some similar. anyway, bought. handling fee nearly $20. hope it is not too shabby. it is my very first camcorder. may sell it on ebay, if it turns out useless to my standard.

"Your order will be delivered to you via Australia Post within 28 days of your purchase."

    omg, 28 days!

Reason you can't find any specs or widespread availability is that its not out till the end of March 2012.

Go back to unity1 posts and the PDF states March 2012. Also if you look at B&H Photos you will see not out till March 2012 as well.

    • yeah, pre-orders only on some sites, delivery in April2012.

FYI, I found this in their terms & condition….

IMPORTANT: Whilst American Express gives you access to these offers through amexconnect.com.au, American Express does not accept any liability or responsibility for the Offers in any way, nor is American Express liable to honor, fulfil or complete any Offer. By accepting an Offer, you are contracting with Spreets or the Merchant (as applicable), not American Express. You should read the information about each Offer, including the terms and conditions, carefully.

I don't know.. this site looks abit dodgy to me compare to Amexnetwork. To begin with, it won't let you go anywhere on their website (not even About Us?) until you've registered (give them all your details!).
Plus… doesn't this look like another one of those group buy websites?

    • i know you are good-hearted to remind the rest, but i hate that warning which makes me worry about my credit card info ;)

so i read the c&t myself and conclude no, they are not dodgy at all.

  • +1

Wow… almost 4 hours and they haven't even sold 40 of them yet? Guess a camcorder isn't as popular as a tablet :)

  • Is there a no annual fee bank issued Amex card?

  • Can anyone tell me what frames per second this records at?
