  • Thanks OP- Got one

Thanks Op, H7 white vision ultra (twin) as well

    https://www.powerbulbs.com/au/product/philips-white-vision-u…

    • Do you have these? I have the Extreme X-Treme Vision and they're still dim.

      • I’ve used them before…I think I’ve got a downgrade one now.

I guess it also depends on how good your vision is? 😃

  • Thanks OP - bought one

  • Do you know if it's local stock?

    • No, it is not.

      UK stock only.

  • Are these really the "brightest road legal lights on the market"???

    • The GT200's are 200% brighter than regular bulbs and aparently road legal, these are 150%. I'm curious with the "road legal" statements, is that in every country that they sell to and are the legalities the same in every country?

  • I've just bought these.

Speaking from experience, How long does it take from the UK to get these bulbs to you, via Australia Post?

    Anyone know, from first-hand experience?

Mine took around a month to arrive. but current delays with international shipping means it might take longer

        Thanks!

As long as it comes before the end of my ability to do a Paypal dispute.
(Which is 180 days from Transaction Date, in Australia)

As long as it comes within 180 days, I don't see a problem. :)

  • OOS already?

    • ah the old bait and switch

      • Seems that way…

The WhiteVision are the same price which were pretty popular when SCA were clearing them out a while back although I think they were down to $15 then.

I've been through two sets of these (paid almost 2x this price). They only last 12-18 months before burning out.

I just went back to some standard OSRAM bulbs and honestly can't tell the difference.

IMO the indiscernible performance bump is not worth my $ or my time replacing them every year.

  • Thanks op, not actually after this particular bulb (gonna go osram nightbreaker, anyone care to provide a review?) but been waiting for powerbulbs to release a discount code for ages.

He's got plenty of these comparison videos.

    • You'd be splitting hairs to find a difference between them. Remember they only last about 200 hrs.
I've had both nightbreaker and xtremevision (basically the same thing) and depending how often you use your headlights, expect them to last 2-6 months.

      • Thanks, maybe in that case I should have bought a set of both?

        • You can spend money on these upgrade bulbs for marginal gains. The biggest contributing factor will be your housings (e.g. hazy/yellow lenses dramatically lowers output). My suggestion is Philips WhiteVision if you're looking to replace old halogens, or stick with standard and work on improving your housing (or swap out for new ones) if possible.

Been there done that, spent many hundreds of dollars on bulbs (including LEDs, all rubbish to be honest). Best is to tackle the physics (HID projector retrofit, or replace with OE HID/LED housing).

I've struggled to find any way to upgrade to LED *legally

  • Anyone got their globes yet? I ordered 15/9 but yet to receive (got the generic 5-10 working days on the dispatch email)

    • Received item today :P

      • I got mine today. Not bad, took only 3 weeks from the UK!
