        bunnings have deleted the hortrico 1L 360 concentrate that was under $10 … now have to buy other brand equivalent for $22.

          They have another no brand for $7/L. It makes up to 50 litres of diluted product. Even with $22 you'd be better off than the ready to spray bottles by the way

      Yeah picked this up today. Trying to find something that will kill weeds but not the grass. Unfortunately seems like the only truly effective way is to weed by hand :(.

        I use this regularly and it doesn't kill my lawn
        It says "Not suitable for use on Buffalo lawns" thou

            @maxwellish: Exactly. This contains glyphosate (ie round up) it’s not selective. It will kill all plants it touches

              @parsimonious one: Huh, are you sure we are talking about the product in the parent comment (Yates 4L Weed 'n' Feed Hose On Lawn Weed Killer)? It contains MCPA and dicamba, not glyphosate. Not suitable for buffalo but safe for other types of lawns.

        I bought the granular version of this a few days ago. It turned all the broadleaf weeds black overnight and now they are withering. Its looking very promising so far.

        What turf do you have? There are selective herbicides that can kill certain weeds. PM me for help, I'm a green keeper.

        If you have buffalo or broadleaf grass, then it's a bit harder to kill many weeds, but if it's bindii & clover, dandelion, i found this stuff works a treat. Mix up 30ml in a 10lt sprayer.
        It takes 5-7days and they're gone. But some.of the other weeds were unaffected (but they're not prickly or annoying). I sprinkle some grass seeds & water the next day to get something to replace the weeds.

        Identify the weed(s) by asking Someone Who Knows™ or using Pl@ntNet (there is an app too) and find the correct selective herbicide(s) for it. Selective herbicides will only kill the weeds in question and leave the grass healthy. They usually recommend using a lawn fertilizer a few days before using herbicides (possibly so that the grass quickly fills in the patches).

    Got excited because I use the concentrate of this same product, this ready to use one is even cheaper than that, but the price is misleading. $29.36 in VIC (checked all my surrounding suburbs)

    I think maybe the deal ended ages ago, im sure i see it on price hipster before it was posted on here and thought not a bad deal.
    Was priced at the lower price as stated and was going to order as click and collect but thought i just grab in store next day.
    I then seen this posted and noticed the comments of it being full price and i check at my store online and it was the higher price.
    Maybe it was price error or they sold enough cheap ones and put up price again.
    But i sure did see it at lower price but unfortunately for me i held off to long.
