Was considering the Elgato Stream Deck Mini however this deal brings the Corsair iCUE Nexus to almost the same price point with some additional functionality.

  • Does it need a corsair keyboard to work?

    • Nope. It’s an option.

Terrible screen on this one though. I feel the stream deck is far more functional.

      Absolutely.

But with the price of a stream deck, unless you have a scenario where tactile buttons are 'killer' in terms of features; you're even better again getting a sub $50 locked phone, and using any of the apps for it.

Cheap as chips for what is functionally a 'stream deck' :)

If you have a spare phone or tablet, there are some great apps you can get to duplicate these companions.

I personally use Deckboard on my Lenovo M8. It’s free and easy to set up. YMMV.

Am not familiar with the product. Seems to have many reasonably favourable reviews, however any thoughts I might have had about buying this (tbh, wasn’t that interested) in any case were squashed after reading this detailed review … https://overclock3d.net/reviews/input_devices/corsair_icue_n….

    • Thanks for the review, good read.

Also, the english nerd in me is screaming :p
      Its 'quashed' not squashed.
      Ill see myself out.

lol … almost corrected it to 'quashed', but given the standard of English grammar in publishing these days, thought I'd have a more trouble free run with 'squashed' … well, you sure quashed that assumption!

  • Showing $169.00 where's the discount?

    • Already gone as far as I can see 😢

At the time of OP's posting, it was on special and the sale was meant to end in over a day. Why did PLE pull the plug early?
