  • Even though its incredibly cheap I don't think I could endure another playthrough. Such a terrible, terrible game :P

  • I too am weary of this title… BUT will I get 5 hours of game play out of it??
$1/hr for entertainment seems like a bargain!

    • If you can grind through it then you will. I managed to, but it wasn't that entertaining.

Yes you will. There are certainly better FPS games out there, but for some good old-fashioned fun then it's a great buy.

    • +2

Idunno… You'll get at least 5 hours of gameplay, but gameplay != entertainment…

  • Good buy, its not "that" bad, but yer I was a die hard and now I haven't even finished the game…

"OK I know this game was officially a flop but for $5 [$4.99] I could not resist."

  • Do i want to sign up with greenman gaming?

    • +1

Greenman gaming has very good deals occasionally. So yeah, definitely sign up… but give this game a miss.

      • Agreed, I've bought some fantastic deals from GMG

    • +4

greenman gaming is a fantastic seller. They are 100% legit and resell steam games cheaper than steam does themselves. By using GMG you can avoid alot of the bullshit regional pricing that steam enforces on us aussies. Just go compare the prices yourself.

      • Also, GMG is a much safer alternative than buying Steam keys from the russian CD key sellers.

crap game or not 5bucks is the cost of a burger from mc donalds

    • +1

      I'd prefer the burger

      • +6

I'd prefer the $5 in my pocket.

        • +2

Well, Duke Nukem Forever is a bit like having a hamburger in your pocket, if that helps?

  • +1

Well I liked it, I have both DNF and the DLC for it too, and I've finished them both. Mind you I don't like modern FPS games in general, I like the old school type stuff.

  • Does GMG support mac versions? cant see it anywhere :(

  • I had a coupon to bring it down to $2.50 when Steam had it on sale last. Even at that price I didn't go for it, and I own almost all of these: http://www.excalibur-publishing.com/games_sims.htm

    • I had that amazon coupon that made it free :3

  • was good for the first 10 minutes,
after that was horrible and repetitive

What are you waiting for? Christmas?

Got this at an earlier steam sale for $7.50 (with both the DLC packs) and had a solid 12 hours of playtime out of it. Weapons feel average and it doesn't have any mystical story but if you like a lot of old games (90's and early 2000's) then just play through this believing that it is an old game that has been redone with more modern graphics and you will have a bit more fun with it :)
After all it basically was originally made in the 90's anyway :P
