      Well on the serious side I see why it isn't technically a deal since every current member gets a chance to get $10 for referring other members. BUT I put this up as a deal for people who aren't yet members of GMG, so that they get a sign up and get $10 credit when they sign up.

      So my intention of this is for others to get $10's Credit for free and not for me to get the credit as I doubt anyone will actually spend $12 just for me.

        Greenman gaming referral links have been around for quite a while - so its not a deal. Referal links have been posted on this site for a long time.

        So you bring nothing new to the party. And also referral links are "tolerated" here when its a gain for all.

        Leading with a post that is based ONLY on a referral link isnt on. Why should you get all the referral links when others have posted at least deals that offer a discount at the same time.

        Also once someone has used the referral link, they cant get any further discount.

        Mods are now discussing this use of referral links to make them fairer. You have done well, we did move to the forums rather than deleting this as it's technically a duplicate of many other posts here.

    How does this work? I click on those links but I'm simply redirected to greenmangaming.com and I don't see any indication that I'm following a referral when I click "sign up" nor does it have a field to introduce the referral link.

      Yeah that's how they work. You just get redirected to the homepage and the referral gets saved to your browser cookie.

      Actually it's in the bunch that Ozpete posted above. I'm keeping an eye on GMG, and if/when something I want comes along I'll be choosing a random link from this page to get me there.
