How long do Dell laptop bags last? It's always so cheap.
More than 3 years for my experience with the cheapest one as well, decent quality build and durability. They are not the best, but for that price it's a no brainer.
P.S. I wouldn't buy it for the overstated full price.
back-wise? Any pain to the back?
No issues even with a heavy load, laptop and textbooks.
nabbed one, its roughly about 750g, half of what I am using.
Looks decent too, better than the other one on sale (dell gaming)

I've had this backpack for a couple of years now and it's worked perfectly, zips clips all working. I use it for work, shopping and on my bike. It's definitely worth the price. I like top opening backpacks as if you forget to close it there's a good chance you're stuff won't fall out. It fits my Dell XPS 15 no problem, also MacBook Pro 15 also fits.
In listing it says it's black, but photos look more like dark grey/brownish. What color is it in real life?

It looks dark grey to my eyes, maaaaaybe slight brown/green tinge.

Is there much padding along the bottom? I've managed to damage minor parts of laptop chassis when putting the backpack on the floor with a laptop inside that's not already inside a sleeve.
I hate this bag, I bought it last time, it doesn't really close even when it is zipped up, it has a big flap up the top that is supposed to roll up to close but it doesn't really work
I am on my way out to Kmart to buy another one
Of course I missed it .. lol
