I hate the way they do these giveaways of each DLC individually. Helps nobody. If you miss a piece you are still better off just buying the premium edition upgrade and since the playercount is low on these old servers and people have to pay monthly to host a server with a reseller (can't host your own) then they don't want to waste their money on an empty server and basically all servers run only the base game maps. If they did giveaway of the entire DLC set in one hit at least you would see the servers run DLC for a short period while everyone can enjoy it for free. Only advantage to getting these individual DLCs is the assignments they come with to unlock a couple extra guns.

if BF1 on PC still being played? I have gone back to playing BF4 recently which is fun, but don't want to reinstall BF1 unless it is still active on PC,
Yes, still very active, join us on ACE or A1 servers. Prepare to wait as the servers are all full on most nights.

is BF5 very different to BF1? what makes it not everyone's cup of tea?
I personally like BF5 but I know it got some really bad reviews and a lot of hate from the community mainly because I think there were a lot of hackers when it first came out. Not really a problem I encountered but I only started playing a few weeks ago.

Logged onto my Origin account, went to Battlefield 1, extra content, and it showed up as free. Clicked on the link and it was added straight to my account without having to go through the checkout process.
I have to say this battlefield was by far the most in-depth they have gone with the set period and I was so stoked that they had gun jesus to consult with for period weapons.
The game play was perfect, graphics and even the music score is fantastic.
