[VIC] Water Bill Extra Charges

G'day

Received water bill in Vic and just wondering if being rorted with 20 extra charges is the normal?

Usage Charge $30
Water Supply system charge $20
Sewrage System Charge $115
Waterways and drainage $120
Annual parks $80

My usage only costed me $30 but they tack on $200 extra.

What park am i going to we can't even leave the house to go to Bunnings ;/

        I live in Vic and only get charged usage and sewage disposal. Probably depends on the supplier

        $2.16/kL for water usage and $1.14/kL for sewage disposal

    I get the same extra charges. It's normal.

    Yup. It’s a farce. I live in a block of units but because we have one meter, we just get everyone’s usage split evenly. The best part is, they still charge all of us individual admin charges even though there’s one meter! We’d be better off consolidating to one account and splitting it on our end and would save the $200*6 per quarter!

      Absolute bullocks that is. If everyone in your block would agree to that it would benefit everyone, why not

    Yep, it's a thing. On the bright side, you can still go to the parks within 5k… just don't hop on the playground equipment.

      Try to go when the sprinklers are on to use some of the water you pay for.
