Good deal for anyone interested in purchasing the new Destiny 2 expansion in the future. Although i dont condone pre-ordering, if you are already an avid Destiny 2 player, this deal is great to save a few dollars down the road, if you know you're going to buy it later.
Use the 'SAVENOW' code for 20% off the normal price. I recommend using a GreenManGaming account to purchase as some people have had trouble using their Steam account.

Other pre order editions are also available:
Deluxe Edition $95.96: https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/destiny-2-the-witch-que…

30th Anniversary Bundle $199.96: https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/destiny-2-the-witch-que…

Is this game still going or has Bungie monetised the crap out of it and run it into the ground?

It is still going, and it's possibly the best the game has been in terms of lore and world building.

Don't get me wrong, the monetisation is still there (season passes and yearly expansions) and cosmetics, but it's not as bad as some other games, IMO.

        Agreed
Still a heap of fun and if you liked it a few years ago you still will.
120 for the yearly pass plus the 30th anniversary is a good deal.

Did they ever have time to explain why they didn't have time to explain?

Real easy to say the story has improved when they had zero to start with…

  • Pretty good saving compared to buying from steam. Thanks for the share

  • I played destiny 2 on release for the ps4. A couple of days after the first raid opened up, 5 friends and I stayed up till 3am trying to get past the damn dogs and I basically never touched the game again since then.

If I’m interested in picking up my old character but restarting on the PC, which version should I get?

Its F2P for a chunk of it
Just download and give it a go. If you like it buy the expansion/season pass.

Its a hell of a lot different since back then, in a good way IMO

check this out if you havent played in a while

    • Notably, Destiny 2 now supports Crossplay. I'm not sure how character transfers work - I think if you log in with your old character on PS4, it'll automatically get registered on bungie.net, and if you log into a PC copy of D2 with that same account, you'll see your character there. As MajorGaz mentioned, it's free to play now, so you only need to trouble yourself with (multiple) large downloads :)

The raid you're talking about is The Leviathan - those dogs were quite frustrating indeed! Unfortunately, it was removed from the game this time last year (together with some locations and some other raids) in the Destiny Content Vault.

  • What’s the cheapest way to get the latest content? Played this back on PS4 around launch but thinking of transferring to PC

    • Bungie introduced cross progression so you can use your profile from PS4 and transfer it to PC. If you're looking for the latest content, Beyond Light is the latest expansion. Steam is currently doing a sale for Beyond Light and also the current season pass.
