  • Good deal, Thanks.
Slight typo you mean 5M HDMI Cable not 3M for $11.95.

    • Revised, Thanks

  • :( it does not alow me to buy from this seller because i bought 2 items in the past 10 days from this seller -.-.-.-.-

    • Open a new account, they are a dime a dozen.

hows does this compare to the Harvey Norman monster cables?

    • +6

      Is this a joke?

      • +10

Either you're very ignorant or you're just trolling

      • +13

        Bwahahahaha…

        Oh wait, you're serious?

      • Damn. It's only the middle of the day and you're THAT drunk already?

Oooh. I got to revoke your neg. Neener! ;)

      • What do you mean by 'far superior'. What difference did they make for you, or did you find some independent tests that support your claim?

      • They are superior, but not worth the extra money.

If your $3 HDMI cable fails, then consider yourself very unlucky, but think of it this way, you could buy two $3 HDMI cables or one $100 HDMI cable…

    • +1

      They're much much cheaper.

And that's pretty much the only significant difference.

  • Wow, great deal. Must check to see if I need any spare cables or my friends do..

  • grabbed one, hope SS won't fail me at first purchase. :)

  • Grabbed a couple, happy with that price

    • me 2 :)

  • Can't buy unless you have bought 2 items in the last 10 days. Not really a good deal.

    • Huh? I just bought some, and I havn't bought anything for ages!

      • I get this message when i try to buy

Sorry, you are not allowed to purchase this item
This item is only available to buyers who have not purchased 2 or more items from this seller in the past 10 days.

        • You can only buy 2 i tried 3.

no offence y do you need gold plating on hdmi (digital cables?)

i mean , do you use gold plated network cables? ridicules nonsense!

  • Bought couple thanks. Now to get some micro usb cable missed the deal yesterday. :(

  • also havetn bought from this seller, but get this

Sorry, you are not allowed to purchase this item
This item is only available to buyers who have not purchased 2 or more items from this seller in the past 10 days.

I assume most people on this site already have enough HDMI cables for their needs?
What do you all do with the extras?

    • +3

Give them to friends/family so they don't spend $100 on a cable

      • i spent $25 on a crap cable from EB…
        cant wait to replace it.

  • you can never have too many, esp at this price imo,…

i need a few more for my foxtel box thats coming soon (2 of them) and also a few other items around the house, having a spre isnt a bad thing as iv given on away to a friend who was runing his $4000 tv via AV input!

    lol

  • Just got one….good price

  • Thanks grabbed one as well. Had grabbed 2 of him 2 weeks ago. Ordered Sunday got Tuesday. Syd > QLD!

  • Ordered one and upon checkout I realized the deal was expired and I was paying $3.95, not $2.95. I don't even need it.

    Good spot.

Repeated studies have shown that with digital cables (HDMI, SPDIF) there's essentially no performance difference between the cheapest vs ultra high end cables. Why people continue to pay big bucks for them is beyond me.

Analog cables - different kettle of fish all together, however people will often go WAY over the top getting 99.99999% Copper cables etc or platinum coated interconnects.

Makes life/monthly sales targets easier for unscrupulous salesmen I guess. Gawd the number of times I've been in HN or similar and seen a poor sod buying a TV and getting sold on why he MUST get the ~$100 Monster brand HDMI cable and similarly priced power surge protector! :-/

with digital cables (HDMI, SPDIF) there's essentially no performance difference

Analog cables - different kettle of fish all together

There's no such thing as "digital cable" - that'd imply transfer using square waves requiring infinite frequency. All digital signals need to be modulated for transmission (whether via wireless or cable), that is, transformed into analogue.

Obviously, knowing that a demodulated signal is meant to be digital allows for more robust error recovery and that's the (only) advantage of digital content.

At very high frequencies, it's not automatic that cheapest cable is going to transfer the modulated signal well enough to allow complete recovery even with digital content. That's why cables have specifications - for instance, CAT 6 for 10GB/s and CAT 5/5e for 1GB/s, both digital-content.

  • Great price.
At such a low price, after paying cost, GST, postage & packing, ebay fees, paypal fees, I don't know how you end up making enough out of this to feed yourself.

    • I don't think they would make money for the 2M.

  • As above, great price bought one just now; thanks for the find

    • Humm as a question, checked my bank details and in addition to the charge of the cable, PayPal charged me $0.94; is this a usual charge when using CC on ebay? seems quite high given the cost of the original product…

  • Please remove the expired price.

Does anyone know where to buy cheap Display Port cables in Sydney? My ThinkPad does not have HDMI ports…

  • Thanks just purchased one.

  • Nice find. Even at $3.95 still the cheapest i can find.

  • Meritline had (still has?) them for $2.87 which I ordered before this deal appeared but then realised I needed another one, so for the minor price premium I just purchased this one so it'll arrive sooner. Meritline tends to take 2-3weeks.

It was only a year or 2 ago that anything under $6 was a bargain so these are still great value.

  • Arrived today. Cheers

  • Pulled the pin on 2x 3 metre cables. Cheers.
