Awesome buds for the price $

  • +1

    Thanks OP.
which model has wireless charging for the case, active noise cancellation and Bluetooth 5.2?

    Cheers

    • +1

SoundPEATS Sonic looks like the best for you @ets27

      • Thanks Will!
        Any ideas if:
        - I can use one ear bud only for music ?
        - I can have multiple devices connected? e.g.: I am listening to something on the laptop and if I get a phone call I can pickup?

        cheers

        • +1

I think you can use one at a time but don't know about multiple devices mate it is a cheap device

          Try Google for info

          • @Willco88: yeah I tried but could not find a definitive answer.
I saw the true air 2 plus are great but I can't find local stock

        • +1

You can pair 1 bud to each device, but you cannot switch between devices without repairing.

Personally I did not like the Sonic. The 3SE and H1 remain my daily drivers and I paired them to two different devices.

        • +1

I bought Sonic a few weeks ago. You can use only one at a time, and it doesn't matter which one you use. They can connect to one device at a time.

Also, they do NOT have ANC, wireless charging or Bluetooth 5.2 (they're on 5.0).

  • +1

Have the Q35HD's for the past couple months. I was fairly impressed considering they only cost $38.

  • +2

Have had these for 6 months now. Bluetooth connectivity is one of the best in this price range. Connects every time and does not get any interference.

Sound stage is very good and lots of mid bass. No sub bass due to the open design.

Worth it even at full price.

  • +1

Just purchased a pair of these after my Airpods went missing for a few days. They sound and work really well, very impressed for the price.

The one thing to be aware of though is these feel nowhere near as comfortable in the ear as the airpods, if I was going to get another pair I'd get ones with the ear tips.

…also the microphone ain't great but usable.

  • Hey rep, any deals on Truecapsule2?

  • +1

Purchased 2 different models the Q35 HD and the Q25 and both have failed after a year of use. I have purchased the TrueAir 2 about a few weeks ago so hope this will last longer than a year. If it does fail I will probably look at purchasing a different brand.

    Anyone have similar experience?

    • They can be buggy, but they are easy to reset and bring back up. As far as longevity goes, no issues after about 6 months of use and they're pretty tough.

A bit of refinement in a few places (comfort, at least 2 device connectivity and a battery indicator on the case) would really elevate these. Once a connection is established it is solid and the sound is good even compared to $100+ buds.

  • +1

I returned my 10 months old true air 2 (Amazon accepted it) because of it won't last two hours on PC zoom call, is the new version better?

I purchased Truengine 3 SE the battery a lot better but because it is in-ear phone call a bit weird, thinking to buy it again because of semi in-ear a lot better for call.

  • Which one better?

  • How is the microphone quality? Looking to replace my Jabra headset with some earbuds for Zoom calls.

    • +3

      microphone ain't great

    • Background noises are going to pierce the ears of the person at the other end, than your voice!

    • +1

i would stay away from these if your after good mic. all the soundpeats models seem to have poor mic performance and picks up way too much outside noise to make them usable when outdoors.

      • I use my Trueair2 for all my calls. They are great, even when out walking, I often check with the caller how I sounded and most didn't know I was using them, Ok if it was very windy or if around traffic, not so great. I'll buy again if I lose them.

        • Same, the best soundpeats for call but after 10 months the battery won't last more than 2 hours for zoom meeting.

I returned mine to Amazon and now I have 3 SE

  • +2

The matte finish makes these almost unusable for me. AirPods stay in my ear mostly OK, but these fall out if I breathe too hard. Got some foam tips for them which help a little, but I'll buy pair of something else next time.

    • agreed, i can used these as a backup pair and maybe while in the house but these feel real iffy in the ear. The matte finish doesn't feel great.

    • Got some foam tips for them which help a little

Try rotate it a bit, it may help.

      • It definitely does, but they do require quite frequent adjustment.

        • Yeah, I have the 3 SE with the comply foam, it is very comfortable but a bit weird for phone call, I feel that semi in-ear is better for phone call or may be I need a bit of time to adjust with in-ear.

  • +2

Hey rep, any further discount on the sonics? Thanks

    • Definitely want to know where the Wings have gone m.

  • +1

TrueAir2 - Worst fitting earbuds I've had lol… I don't get it.. I didn't believe the reviews and bought them anyway… I was wrong. Don't be like me.

    I'd highly recommend Sonics (amazing!)

    https://www.amazon.com.au/SOUNDPEATS-Headphones-Bluetooth-AP…

    And

True Capsules 2 - These fit well lol

    https://www.amazon.com.au/SOUNDPEATS-TrueCapsule2-Detection-…

    • +1

Semi in-ear not really for everybody, some like me have no problem with it.

      • hahah ''semi in-ear'' :P More like 'fall out constantly and not functional'' :P

Donno.. I'd say they maybe would be okay if all you did was sit at a desk and work without any movements but my god they fell out constantly.

Each to their own but it wasn't for me.

    • +1

+1. Had both Trueair2 and truecapsule2. Truecapsule are a way better fit and comfy.

  • +1

I bought Soundpeats Truengine last year . It was good at the beginning but then the volume suddenly gone very low. Mic is pretty useless.

TBH, I'd save a little more and get something decent that last a couple of years at least.

  • Just sharing my experience with these. I have them in black and they're great. Earlier this year I tried about 4 different wireless earbud brands including Bose, Huawei and 1MORE, they had issues staying in my ears, (except the 1MORE's where 1 ear working after a few weeks). I hesitated trying these but glad I did cos they work great. That said, I don't know what "cVc Noise Cancelling" is, but it's not ANC. The noise cancelling on these is essentially non-existent.

    • I believe the noise canceling is referring to the microphone.

      • Ahh, that would make sense. With these type of ear buds, the ones that sit more loosely in the ear cup instead of the silicon-sealed in the ear canal, I don't think ANC works very well anyway. When I tried the Huawei Freebuds 2, they had ANC but no silicon seal and the noise cancelling was very hit and miss.

  • Which one is better with decent sound, good call quality n battery life?

  • i have too many wireless earbuds. expensive ones, cheap ones. must resist. honestly the cheap ones are the best. for such a disposable product, not worth spending heaps of cash when the gains ain't that great

  • Got this pair, 6months in and they are brilliant. I highly recommend getting some cheap foam covers. $6 for 20pcs on Amazon from memory

I use them for MS teams, music, running. Call quality pretty good. No complaints so far

  • I just ordered the Taotronic SoundLiberty 92s because my daughter wouldn't give mine back. And now I just ordered these too

  • +1

Sonics for the win it seems by comments here. Rep, any extra discount for them than the 9%? Thanks

    Or is SoundPEATS T2 better?

  • How can i company have SOOOOO many difference earbud style headphones. Crazy…

  • if someone that uses their earbuds for calls quite often, these are much better for calls than all of the soundpeats and in the same price bracket

downside of these is that u cant skip tracks with the touch controls. only play/pause and assistant work
also 3.5 hours only on one charge

    https://www.amazon.com.au/1MORE-Bluetooth-Headphones-Microph…

  • +1

Any chance of a deal on the H1?

  • +2

    Sonics! Sonics! Sonics! Sonics!

Come one rep, I'll buy a couple with a better discount :)

    • What's the difference between the Sonic and T2? Hard to tell from the listing

      • There are soooo many versions. Just been keeping an eye on these for a while now. Personal taste. Saying that I just got the T2, couldn't wait any longer.

  • Bought the trueair 2's earlier this year, no regrets at all.

Very good quality sound, great for phone calls too.

Only downside for me personally is changing it to game mode (for lower latency) is tied to triple tapping the left earphone. I usually just have in the right earphone most of the time so I can't change it to this mode without taking out the left earphone, triple tapping it, then putting it back int he charging case.

A minor gripe, but otherwise amazing earphones.

    • Why wouldnt it just always be in gamemode? Whats the downside?

      • +2

More battery usage, less BT range, slightly lower audio quality.

  • I had a pair of trueengine 3. Pretty good sound quality but the build is poor. Mine failed within 3 months. Support was good and sent a replacement. However, the new buds also have issues with bluetooth cutting out and the sound completely going in the left bud.

  • I have these. Great sound and bass, but the microphone sucks. Airpods all the way for my telephone calls. Last week I dropped my airpod case and a car rolled over it. It was returned to be when someone found it. Airpods work fine but the case lid is a bit loose.

  • Another tangent for great sound and excellent quality over calls I recommend these: https://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/earfun/air-pro-tru…

  • best budget imo. I have a large head and these stick very well. other buds always fell out when i bent over at work

  • Has anyone tried Haylou QCC3040 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002988659554.html?spm=a2…, specs wise look very similar to SoundPEATS.

    • I would recommend to buy Soundpeats because of Amazon and no need to worry return.

  • I bought Haylou GT6 based on Scarbir and sounds good for that price. I paid around USD 20 and it came with in 2 weeks.

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002548534475.htm

    Scarbir review : https://www.scarbir.com/tws/haylou-gt6-review

  • The 25% off isn't working for me - any suggestions?

    • the price has changed to the discount price and you can buy it directly

      • Ordered - took a few refreshes. Thanks so much!

  • Do any of these have multipoint? Or at least a way to swap between devices without turning bluetooth off/on or going into settings?

  • +1

My true wireless 2 faulted after 2 weeks. Pairing issues left with right, then resolved a week after trying over and over again.

A week after resolving the initial fault, the left bud completely died after crackling and would not charge at all. The case also stopped holding charge shortly after that. More troubleshooting did not lead to a resolution and eventually threw them out.

Got a refund and didn't bother with trying another pair. Might be a faulty batch but numerous customers complaining about the same issue over the last year.

When they did work, sound and battery life were excellent.

Also tied about 3 different models of buds, all would fall out with any type of tip. Likely because of my ear and the weight of the bud itself.

  • +1

I have T2's and they have good ANC and sound quality and are pretty decent for phone calls as well.

    • Did you find a bit weird with in-ear earphone during phone call?

      • Not really

        • You can't hear yourself.

  • +2

I have been using the Soundpeats trueAir 2 for many months and I always have problems with phone calls - the caller gets an echo of their own voice.

  • See so many good reviews no reason to waste money on air pods

  • Got mine today!

    TrueAir2.

I'm no audiophile but these are great pretty good. Super easy to use.

Fit great in my big ears.
