It's a 2 hour 30 minute playlist, but long story short three different Evolta robots completed a Iron man Triathalon using three rechargable evolta batteries. The course was 230km long.

I highly recommend the Hobbyking LSD AA rechargeable batteries. I have used them for years and they have been faultless.

    http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__10456__Turnigy_AA…

Rated at 2200mAh, but have always come in over that (one batch was up around 2400mAh!). These have out performed my eneloops in my camera.

At $1.29 each plus shipping, the sweet spot is to order them in lots of 14:
8 x AA Batteries for $17.32USD delivered ($2.165 USD ea)
14 x AA Batteries for $28.06USD delivered ($2.00 USD ea)
21 x AA Batteries for $42.09USD delivered ($2.00 USD ea)

    • Thanks, these look good. Interesting seeing the reviews on their website of people testing the batteries they receive.

    • +1 to the Hobby King ones, they rock!

    • what charger would you reccommend?

      I have this charger - http://www.electronicswarehouse.com.au/battery-charger/fast/…

Can i use this with these batteries (to hit the full mah)?

Errmmm…I think I'll stick to the devil I know. (Eneloops)

    • I have eneloops and hobbyking.com LSD batts. Both work great. My hobbyking ones I left in a transmitter for nearly a year and went flying with them without recharging and flew all afternoon without the low batt alarm going off. The hobbyking ones are US$1.29 each + postage. When I buy a model or some other item, I fill up any spare shipping space with LSD AA or AAAs (they tell you how many grams till the shipping goes to the next price scale). So if the Chinese LSD work so well, I'm pretty sure these Panasonic ones would be fine.

    • +1 for Eneloops.

      • Yep, have good experience with Sanyo Eneloops, and just received recent OzBargain deal of 8 glittering Eneloop AA batteries for $20, it's a much better OzBargain deal :)

Just for those who didn't know, Sanyo is now part of Panasonic, it's only matter of time for panasonic to combine eneloop and Evolta brands.

I would be surprised that anyone on ozbargain would actually need any rechargables after the last DSE eneloop sale.
However for AAA it may be an option.

  • So will the MAHA Chargers able to charge to the max 2200mA rate?

This is confusing How many Batteries AA do we get for $29.95??

20? or 2 or what? where did you get 5x from?

    • Just click on the link, your answer awaits.
As OP states in title "10x Panasonic Evolta AA Rechargeable Batteries"

    • You get 10. Looking at the photo you may be sent 5 individual twin-packs.

Charge rate will depend on the actual charger you have.

Holy Cow!! Someone else posted a deal for us. Thanks Auna.

  • The maha 9000 will charge up to 20 000mA, so 2300 will be easily managed…!

  • Just once I'd like to see AAAs cheap here. Just once. Doesn't anybody use AAAs? I must be some kind of battery freak cos I use far more AAAs than AAs.

  • It's discrimination against AAA users! Have you noticed that when Woolies has specials on batteries, they charge the same unit price as the AAs for the much smaller AAAs? What's that about?

  • To me a "pack" is 2 batteries in a packet or do they mean 10x in a pack… its not clear :p

    • 10 batteries

    • It's 5 packets of 2 batteries, in total 10 batteries.

  • just wondering will the maha charger be ok for the hobbyking lsd batteries?
